140 Oltrerugo, located approximately 1.25 hour drive from Venice Marco Polo Airport, is perched on a ravine lot, in the commune of Castelnovo dei Fruili overlooking a valley with views of the mountains and the Church of the Eglase to the west. One hour drive from Lignano Riveria; Austria, Germany or Slovenia border; in winter, ski at nearby Piancavello or Travesio. 2 hours drive from Cortina, 4 hours to Munich or 6 hours to Vienna. Golf in Fagagna, Aviano or Lignano. Fly in from either Venice, Treviso or Trieste airports.
Street Level has two bedrooms, a dining/living room, modern spacious kitchen and 4-piece bath with three entry doors leading to the outdoor balcony. Very bright and inviting. Lower Level, partially unfinished, has 1 summer only unheated bedroom, modern 3-piece bath with shower and the laundry and furnace room. A large storage area contains all the patio furniture and tools storage. The exterior door opens to a large patio (with awning) and the barbeque area.
The Snaidero kitchen has gas stove, oven, refrigerator, dishwasher and is fully equipped with table settings for eight persons. You can dine in the kitchen, for more formal occasions, in the dining room or outside on the lower patio.
The Living/Dining Room has a leather divan which pulls out to a double bed, if necessary. Watch TV – satellite reception, play CD’s, or listen to radio. The buffet has novels, maps and guides, the guest book and puzzles. Operating instructions for all appliances, candles, table linens and extra glassware are in the cabinet as well.
The bedrooms are spacious, the master having a queen bed, with large armadio (clothes cupboard) and side cabinets. The guest bedroom has two dressers, an armadio and can be equipped as two singulare (single) or one matrimonio (double). The double doors open onto the balcony running along the back of the house. The lower level bedroom has a king bed and modern armadio, dressers and bedside tables.
Parking for 1 car on site is available or cars can be parked along the roadside as is the local custom.
Live the Italian lifestyle. Shop at the markets for fresh local fare, come home, open a bottle of local Pinot Grigio, put on a Bocelli or Pavrotti CD, throw open the shutters to the balcony and prepare your repast. Dine al fresco, overlooking the stupendous view. The Sunsets are magnifico! Visit the numerous wineries in the area. Enjoy "La Dolce Vita"
