Why they chose this property

This is a very beautiful and well maintained resort with contemporary decor. The staff is top notch and the location is quiet away from the crowded downtown Cancun. It's located in Playa Mujeres neighborhood next to Playa Mujeres Golf Club, designed by Greg Norman, and the El Meco Mayan temple.

The beach waves and currents are gently buffered by the presence of Isla Mujeres, which you can see on the horizon from the resort. It takes only 5 Minutes from the ferry dock to enjoy day trips to Isla Mujeres’ North Beach or to swim with dolphins and whale sharks and 15 minutes from malls and tourist attractions such as the aquarium, Museo Maya, bars, restaurants and nightclubs.

Chichén Itzá, Tulum and El Meco are just some of the Mayan archeaological sites in the Yucatan Peninsula you can explore during your vacation at Villa del Palmar Cancun.

What makes this property unique

Stand up paddleboards are free to use around the Villa del Palmar Cancun resort area from 10.30am until 4.00pm (the last time for borrowing is at 3.30pm). The recommended time for each guest to use the paddle boards is 45 minutes to give chance to everyone who wants to try their hand at paddleboarding. Life jackets provided.
