The hosts were both very welcoming, really helpful and super kind. We felt very comfortable and safe at their place. It is a very convenient location - only a short walk to restaurants/shops etc and right on the beach. Would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend to friends/family. Thank you for having us!

Super hosting, quiet spot close to action & next to beach

The hosting was absolutely superb!! The property owner sends early emails with good information about resources and what to expect. The property manager helps provide just about anything you may need - such as van, golf cart, and quick information about the area. The location is a rare place for Tamarindo with the property being on the beach. With the lush trees there is only a slim view of the water but having it be just steps away is amazing. We walked to town in 10 minutes, or did a scooter for $2 and were there in 2 minutes. Private parking was nice for the days we rented a golf cart, and it felt safe to leave it in the gated and secure area. In that same secure area, I was able to leave my surfboard overnight with no concerns. The studio itself is just right with a small kitchen, open feel, beautiful wood ceiling, modern TV and cable with WIFI, and the building was very nice and very well kept. We highly recommend this place!!!! -Sean & Christine.

La maison est superbe, bien entretenu, tres bien place et que dire des hotes. Ils sont sympathiques, accuillants et disponibles. Nous recommandons fortement cet hebergement qui a ete au dela de nos attentes. La plage est directement a cote de lhebergement et elle est tres belle avec se vague parfaite pour se baigner.

Amazing!

Our stay at Casa Del Mar was perfect! The owners (Roger & Pat) were on site in the big house in front and were able to assist us with check in and were available throughout our entire stay. The blue book they have inside was very thorough along with the instructions and info they provided at check in. The location was perfect, not too close to all the hustle and bustle at the city center but also close enough to walk to it. The location to the beach was very accessible as the walkway is on site and had private access through the gate to it. We loved every minute of our stay and would definitely come back!

Outside of the noise, but close enough to walk to downtown. Easy beach access.

This property is perfectly placed just outside of the noisy night life, within walking distance of downtown and right on the beach. Safe gated area. We stayed in the casita and the owners were in the big house. May want to rent both the big house and the casita if available and you don’t want to share the space as I could see two different experiences if paired with someone who wanted a different type of vacation.
