Excellent location for this fully air-conditionned two bedroom flat (90m²) situated in a quiet area of Albuferia with large south-west facing terrace (37m² ) offering exceptional views over the ocean and the old town.

1 bedroom with 1 double bed (160cm x 200cm ) and 1 bedroom with 2 single beds (100cm x 200cm).

Joint living / dining room with 2 pullout beds.

Bathroom with toilet & bidet

Excellent location with the most beautiful view

We stayed for 10 nights in June and already we are looking at booking for October.

The hotel where the apartmeat is located is in a perfect location, minutes stroll to the shops and to the old town and beach. The hotel is on a hill but the walk is so pleasant and has such an authentic hidden feel to it. Spar is 30mins away and a chemist and aldi and lidl a 15mins walk. We walked up and got a taxi back.

My 2 boys aged 9 and 11 loved their stay. They cannot wait to return. They loved the pool and had it to themselves most evenings. The pool bar sells drinks and has a vending machine and tv has some English channels. The boys filled the pool with floats and beach balls.

The bedrooms had air conditioning which we need each night. The furniture is to a high standard and the beds very comfortable. Wifi worked perfectly and the kitchen had all necessary appliances. We too our chromecast with us for the kids.

The staff at the hotel were so friendly and helpful. My partner sprained his knee and was on crutches and then my son fell and broke his wrist and on both occasions they were so helpful to us. The staff at the local hospital Lusida were exceptional and looked after us so well.

Lots to see and do, numerous fantastic places to eat and the beach is beautiful with lots of activities available.

We fell in love with the place and cannot wait to return. The owner was fantastic in her responses to our queries and all transactions were hassle free. I would Def recommend this apartment for its location, the pictures don't do the view justice you have to see for yourself.

très beau sejour

Un appartement lumineux très bien situé près de la mer et du cœur de la ville tout en étant au calme. La résidence est très bien entretenue avec piscine. Il manque juste le wi fi pour les ados. Un 2eme jeu de clés serait le bienvenu. Je reviendrais sans hésiter.

great location, but...

We just returned from a week stay. In general, the apartment was nice, especially the following:

--the location was superb.

--the views were outstanding.

--the size of the apartment, the bedrooms, and the terrace were great.

The negative that keep us at only 3 stars are as follows:

--the apartment is in need of updating. The stove and oven are very old and did not work well.

--The television was 15+ years old and did not even work most of the time (sometimes it would turn on and sometimes it would not). A working TV was explicitly noted in the listing.

--The owner told us there would be WIFI in the lobby, but that was not true. There was a very old desktop computer that required pay as you go, but even that was not working. To keep up with work, I had to go to nearby restaurants to access WIFI. This would have been OK if the listing on homeaway did not specifically state that internet was available (in which case we would likely have rented elsewhere).

--There was a lot of construction going on in the building, which limited access to the roof deck and resulted in lots of construction materials and debris left in the hallways overnight.

--The listing pictured a billiards table for use , yet this was nowhere to be found, likely due to the construction chaos.

--Even though we reserved for four people and the listing said that there were beach towels provided, there were not enough for all four of us. When I immediately informed the receptionist about this, I was told that was not their problem but rather the owners (who lives in France). We had to go buy our own.

--Other little things were irritating. For example, the master bedroom had a twin size flat sheet rather than correctly sized sheet for a double/queen size bed which did not cover the bed.

--You had to pay extra (and pay an extra deposit) to use the safe that was already in the unit, which seemed petty and should have been included in the cost of the rental. There were other notes saying deposits were required to get other basic things such as a hair dryer, second set of keys (which is a must for a family of four on holiday), the remote to the TV (!!!), etc. There was also a crazy inventory list with prices (for things like cups and cutlery) that we were not about to spend our time going through (who knows if half of those things were even there to start). These petty things just set a negative tone to the place.

Sadly, we would be hesitant to recommend this rental.

Owner's Response: Nous sommes désolés de votre déception, en effet notre appartement se trouvent dans un immeuble très bien entretenu qui nécessite des travaux réguliers de la part du propriétaire mais dont nous ne sommes pas toujours informés. La cuisine est très fonctionnelle et adaptée aux besoins de vacanciers (lave-vaisselle, expresso, frigidaire congélateur....) La télévision à été changée dès qu'elle est tombée en panne, il était bien précisé dans l'annonce que l'appartement n'avait pas de wifi, nous ne sommes pour rien s'il y avait un problème de connexion dans l'immeuble. La table de billard appartenait au propriétaire de l'immeuble et à été retirée sans que nous en soyons informé. (nous avons supprimé cet info de l'annonce dès que nous en avons eu connaissance) Il est précisé également dans l'annonce que 3 transats sont sur la terrasse et qu'il y a 3 serviettes de bain pour cet usage, nous ne fournissons pas les serviettes de plage. Quant aux télécommandes, elles sont données sous caution pour ne pas qu'elles disparaissent. Comme dans toute location, il y a un état des lieux et chacun est responsable de l'utilisation des lieux. Nous sommes étonnés de toutes ces remarques, les autres locataires ayant été ravis de leur séjour, nous vous rappelons qu'un appartement est différent d'un hotel et que les services sont différents... Il faut savoir que cet immeuble dispose tout de même d'un service de conciergerie, d'un accueil jour et nuit, d'un service de nettoyage et de personnel de ménage à disposition des clients avec supplément....

En un seul mot : MAGIQUE

Nous étions 3 couples et nous avons passés un séjour vraiment magnifique, tout était top. Premièrement l'appartement est nickel, la vue est à couper le souffle entre la vue sur la vieille ville et la vue sur la mer.. Au coucher de soleil ce moment est parfait pour un petit apéro en terrasse. Tous les besoins sont à proximité, épiceries, restaurants, bars et magasins. En tout cas ce séjour nous restera, nous avons un séjour au top du top, et nous reviendrons sans hésiter.

Le personnel a l'accueil est très sympathique, la piscine de l'immeuble est également parfaite pour se rafraîchir et la plage à proximité est une très belle plage. Nous n'avons rien à redire car tout était parfait selon nous !

Bien cordialement, et merci encore à la propriétaire qui a été d'une grande gentillesse, nous reviendrons sûrement dans votre appartement, et qui sait peut être dès l'année prochaine!

Très bel appartement tt confort et bien situé

Nous y avons séjourné 9 jours. Très joli appartement où il fait vivre avec une vue exceptionelle. Cuisine très bien équipée. Piscine agréable surtout en cas de canicule.

Propriétaire sympathique et très réactive.

Une adresse à garder sans conteste.

Excellent séjour

Nous avons passé de très bonnes vacances au Portugal qui nous ont dépaysés et reposés. Nous remercions la propriétaire pour sa gentillesse et avons particulièrement apprécié la situation de l'appartement tant géographiquement pour visiter l’Algarve qu’au niveau de la ville d’Albufeira. Nous avons bien profité de la très grande terrasse hyper bien exposée avec 2 belles vues (sur la mer et la vieille ville).

L'appartement est très fonctionnel, particulièrement bien équipé, spacieux et les baies vitrées dans chaque pièce permettent de profiter de la vue où que l’on soit. Service de réception appréciable.
