About this property

Stunning Mutiny Bay waterfront beach home featuring knotty pine walls, stone fireplace, nautical light fixtures and sliding barn doors that make this a truly rustic yet luxurious beach place. Enjoy spectacular views of the Olympics, shipping lanes (including ten cruise ships each weekend May through September), sunsets and miles of sandy beach and tidelands in this relaxing 4 bedroom 2 and 1/2 half bath 3000 square foot home on a 60 foot wide lot.

Located in the middle of the Bay with sandy beach extending for miles each direction. After an afternoon of volleyball, boating, fishing, or beachcombing, sit on the large partially covered deck for a romantic evening dinner watching cruise ships sailing by. Take a nightly tub in the cedar hot tub and rinse off in the outside shower before building your beach fire to make s'mores and telling family stories.

There is a small caretaker cottage on the backside of the property which may be occupied on occasion by the owners, who would be available to take care of any of needs during your stay. (you'll only see us if you need assistance). Please contact us if you have any questions.

Pets are welcome to enjoy the beach life, but we do ask that all renters have their pets flea-treated prior to your stay.

Wonderful casual beach retreat

Our group of 13 ladies thoroughly enjoyed a relaxing and comfortable 3 day weekend in this unique family retreat property. The location right on the beach with Olympic Mountains and sunset views is very special. The house is well equipped - we had everything we needed and more!

Niece Visit

My niece just bought a house on Whidbey and I wanted to visit but not invade her privacy. She found this house and I rented it for whole week for anyone who wanted to join me. A friend drove with me from Billings and we stayed at this property alone for the first few days. We walked the sandy beach many times searching for beach glass, which we did find, along with many shells! We were also visited by seals, birds, including a pair of bald eagles, an otter, who ran up the beach, and a neighbor's dog! The house was extremely cozy and quiet and dark at night, so we slept well. Then, my nieces and their S.O.'s moved in, with their mom. We were all tickled to find Bop-it and Code Names, along with umpteen other games and puzzles in the game closet. My nieces brought their dogs, and there are dog supplies in the laundry room. We loved how the whole back of the house is windows facing the ocean, so no matter what we were doing, we could always watch the water. The kitchen was very well stocked, even having large baking pans and a huge wooden salad bowl so we could make an Italian feast. I appreciated the ease of recycling and access to the hot tub. This is obviously a well-loved family retreat, and I will probably stay there next year!

House was perfect for Thanksgiving with friends. Two ovens and two refrigerators were fantastic for dinner prep. The location and beach are beautiful!

So peaceful

We loved everything about our stay. The view was amazing (gorgeous sunsets), the beach was a blast (both dogs and kiddo loved it), the kitchen was well-stocked, home was clean and neat, and we had a fantastic time. Thank you Bob!

Wonderful Cabin

The cabin has a great layout that everyone fit comfortably in. It is on the nicest beach on Whidbey Island and the kids loved it. Can't wait to rent again.
