Newly renovated unique 3 story row-home with 4 gorgeous bedrooms! A must see!! This home is central to all Pittsburgh area tourist attractions and will easily accommodate families, couples, and friends traveling together. This home is also one block from the Great Allegheny Passage and is a perfect respite for Cyclists. This unique home was built in 1908 and although it has been fitted with modern amenities, charm and history can still be seen throughout this property.

The Space

This unique home is full of character and charm. Decor and furnishings have been curated from vintage, antique, custom pieces, and re-purposed furnishings. The intention of this space was to create a comfortable home away from home with luxurious touches while keeping in touch with reality - this place is intended to be lived in!

Sleep comfort is of the upmost Priority! Mattresses are pillow top and very comfy. Each bed has a variety of pillow density for you to find the right fit for your sleeping preference. All bedrooms have reading lights, space to plug in your devices, and lots of space to hang and store your personal items. Extra towels are always available, and the hallway closet is stocked with essentials in case you have forgotten something.

The kitchen is fully equip to cook and host a dinner for 8 and has been updated with all new appliances. The pantry is stocked with basics which you are welcome to use. Coffee and Tea are plentiful so that your mornings will always begin happy at Bingham.

Laundry facilities are available if you need to do a quick load while you visit.

Wifi is available as well as local cable TV, and premium channels. You can access your Netflix, Hulu, and Amazon accounts through the smart TV located in the living room.

The property is located one block from the Great Allegheny Passage and is ideal for Cyclists who are just beginning or just ending their journey. Bike storage, pump, and hose are all located in the rear of the property to keep your equipment in good working order. Bike maps, trail guides, and information to local bike shops are also available. As an avid cyclist myself, I can also help you if you have any special needs or questions related to your cycling trip.

There is also a lovely courtyard in the rear of the property for you to relax and enjoy with your traveling companions - weather permitting of course.

Guest Access

As a guest of Bingham you have access to the entire house and all the amenities provided in the home. Living, dining, bedrooms, bathroom, courtyard, laundry, wifi, coffee and tea.

Interaction with Guests

I want to ensure that you are comfortable and have everything you need to relax and enjoy your stay. I will periodically contact you through your stay to ensure you have everything you need and will be available as needed throughout your stay. Guest check in is automated via door code which will be sent to you prior to check in.

Other things to Note

There is only one bathroom - I have ensured that there is a mirror with an outlet in each bedroom to make it easier for everyone to get ready at the same time.

We are sticklers for cleanliness! All our beds and pillows have protective covers and our bedding is completely changed after each guest. We will work hard to ensure the home is immaculate for every check in

The neighborhood

The home is located in the "West Carson" section of the south side flats of Pittsburgh. Semi commercial, a bit industrial, 100% funky and original mixed with unique row homes.

Bingham sits 1.5 blocks off historic Carson Street in Pittsburgh's south side, the entertainment capital of the city. You will be walking distance to over 130 restaurants, bike trails, & a river front park and marina. The house sits 2 miles from the down town core - Heinz field, and the Convention Center.

Despite the central location, this home is QUIET in the evenings as it is just far enough away from the hub of Carson Street where the night live can be too lively for people who like to sleep

My husband and I decided to purchase this property and host it as a short stay rental after we did an epic cycling trip from Pittsburgh to DC. We enjoyed the experience so much, staying in unique homes along the way and meeting people from all over the world. During the miles of peddling, we day dreamed about owning a property by the trail and by the time we got to DC we had made up our minds!
