o m g wow we stayed at wakes hall lodges on September 19th it was absolutely fabulous the lodge was stunning and very spacious we had three lovely relaxing days here the views were amazing
Arrived on Friday the 26th of August. There were flies all over the lodge, dead and alive. Kept landing on any food we prepared. We could not enjoy our stay at all and only stayed one night instead of three as they could not give us a solution to the problem. We have tried to be reasonable and suggested going back on another date when the fly issue has been sorted but they have refused this and or to give us some kind of refund. Awful service for the amount paid. Feel so sorry for my fiancé as this was a Christmas present from him. I had been ill for the last three years and this was our first get away since. Just awful treatment. We are just money in the owners eyes and not humans who have worked hard for this get away.
If you want luxury in an amazing situ then you just have to stay here. We have stayed in many a lodge with hot tubs as we have a dog and this way we can all have a holiday but I can honestly say nothing has come any where near to this. It was just perfect. Can't wait to come back. Thank you wakes lodges for the thought to detail that has gone into these holiday homes
I am not exaggerating when I say 'Out of this world'. We arrived on Good Friday for the Eater weekend. Our lodge was ready before check in time so we were allowed to begin our weekend early. We walked in to Ramson Lodge and was overwhelmed by the size of the lodge. It is beautifully decorated and spacious and wowed us from opening the front door. My Fiance and I had the master room - this was truly outstanding. The bathroom is huge and again decorated lovely. Our friends ad the twin room and again was beautifully decorated. The views from the veranda are great and they over look the lake on the hill. The first day was a little cloudy but this didn't dampen our spirits. After unpacking we opened a bottle of Champagne as we were celebrating our recent engagement. We opened the hot tub and in we got. We stayed there for 5 hours! Anyway the whole weekend was amazing and we are already planning our next visit with our friends. Thank you so much to Marianne as well, she was always at the end of the phone if you needed her. Thanks to Helen as well for taking care of everything prior to going. many thanks, Claire, Max, Carol & Dave
The lodge is absolutely beautiful as is the surrounding area. We had a lovely 4 night break celebrating New Years. Our dog loved the long walks and our son loved the hot tub! We enjoyed it so much we have already booked for New Year 2105! Thank you!!!
Me and my wife stayed for two nights for my birthday and what a fantastic time we had. The lodges were finished to a very hi spec, hot tub felt so good. We have already spoken to them about going back this time with the kids. We went to the riverside Indian restaurant witch was recommended by marianne the food was pukka and service was again fantastic.
We booked a break to get away from real life for a minute and we struck gold ! The surrounding area was beautiful . The lodge was finished to the highest spec and so homely and comfortable. The hot tub was amazing even in the wind and rain !
We will be back, sooner rather than later. Thank you for the most amazing time !
