Comfortable self contained annex

Good sized lounge / kitchen area was very well equipped. Separate bedroom with ensuite shower. Lovely outside sitting / eating area with panoramic view of city & sunset. Furnishings a little dated but this quiet, self-contained annex of the owner's villa was an ideal base for visit to Cote d'Azur. The only negative aspect for us was the steep street with blind corners - busy at times with fast cars & motorbikes. Mme Dupre herself was delightful - around most days, very attentive and keen to chat despite my "school boy French". We walked / cycled most days around Nice & surrounding villages - the hills certainly provide plenty of exercise! We did not use public transport but the area seems well served. The autumn weather was perfect for exploring the area and at this time of year, nowhere we visited was overcrowded.

Beautiful Villa in a great location

We stayed in this apartment for a week in October and had a fabulous holiday. Michelle our host was so kind and helpful and nothing was too much trouble. The apartment was very well equipped with everything you could possibly need and has superb views. The location is also great, away from busy Nice centre but yet very accessible to all places of interest. We walked to Nice Port and centre in 15 to 20 mins, a pleasant stroll downhill. We did a lot of touring in the week using public transport which is very efficient and cheap. Villefranche-sur-mer was our favourite which is about a 15 min walk from the villa and is very pretty with lots of little paved streets. The village of Eze is also definitely worth a visit. And of course Nice centre has it all, beautiful promenade, fabulous architecture, designer shops and the old town. Thanks Michelle for being such a wonderful host and for being so patient and correcting my French. We hope to return again next year.

What a wonderful place to stay - the best!

This appartment has it all....superb location, beautifully comfortable and a fabulous view! Perfect for exploring up and down the Riviera and into the mountains beyond.

Great to be in such a lovely setting and so close to both Nice and Villefranche sur Mer.

Madame Dupre is really helpful and kind...nothing is too much trouble.

The appartment is extremely comfortable and very well appointed, with 2 gorgeous terraces and that amazing view!

Thank you for such a fantastic holiday!

Ideal touring base for the Cote d'azure

This is a well equipped, property with a good combination of modern kitchen and bathroom within a period property with great character. The location is perfect, set in an area of large, attractive houses on the hillside overlooking Nice. The provision of a private, off-road parking space is very useful as parking on the streets can be difficult.

The owner is a charming lady, and despite her limited English and my terrible French, we had fun communicating - a tablet computer with Google translate helped a lot.

I would recommend this property to anyone who can cope with somewhat steep steps and roads in the area.

Pour l'instant à Nice la température reste agréable, toujours pas de chauffage.!!!! mais si la pluie arrive,alors là il faudra mettre la chaudière en route. Que ce soit l'emplacement, le confort de la location, l'accueil et la disponibilité de Mme Dupré, tout est réuni pour un séjour réussi.

Il est à noter la place de parking mise à disposition, indispensable dans cette rue ; il est possible de se déplacer avec les transports en commun très proches de la villa.

Le tout compris est également très appréciable.

Bref, vous pouvez louer cet appartement les yeux fermés.
