Unpleasant visit

. This place has not been cleaned in some time, there were cobwebs everywhere, ants everywhere even in the tub, all the heaters were on and it was extremely hot in there, the refrigerator isn’t clean. This was the worst visit, we couldn’t sit outside due to the family’s kids above us jumping in and out of the hot tub leading to water dripping on us or dirt falling on us every single time, could hear them running and walking hard all day and night, went to take showers and each day water was completely cold, we came hear for peace and was nothing but a head ache. So not worth the 200 a night! .

The house wasn't very clean! The location, I thought would've been a little more secluded from the picture I saw on line.

Disgusting - Spider Infested Bedroom

The place was absolutely disgusting. My friends found a spider in the bedroom and we soon realized there was a full blown infestation-they were all along the wall, in the curtains, and around the window (those were the worst places). We cleaned up a lot of them and the webs but it was everyone and there was a bigger issue here. I contacted the office and they responded the next morning saying they would try to come take care of it. I said okay. Not hearing anything back, 3hrs later I asked if they were going send someone they responded "Jerry is driving up this evening will try to be there around 8 unless you want to spray some bug spray and wipe the webs down with a towel" We are all collage aged girls so not happy with him "trying" to come at 8. As you can tell, they were not understanding there was a spider infestation not just a few webs (I sent them videos the night before). I explained this again and asked for Jerry's number so I could talk to him directly. I messaged him explaining that its more than just webs and that bug spray and a towel would not work. He responded "We just had the building spray about 3 weeks ago I spoke with another exterminator he was not able to come until next week so I am going to come" I asked if we can get come kind of compensation since we were unable to use the room (and sleeping places-we had 6 people who ended up all sleeping on air mattresses and the couch. They approved ahead of time having extra people.) After that, he didn't send another text until he showed up at 8:45. He kept telling me he didn't see an issue and only found two spiders. At one point he asked what's the big deal if we cleaned them up already, which I said the fact we had to clean it up was an issue and that its still disgusting and they're still there. He also explained how we're in the woods and its "normal" and "good" cause they keep out other things like roaches and bugs (we found a roach the next morning in the kitchen) and then he followed that statement saying of course, he wouldn't want them in his house (neither did we!) We discussed back and forth, going in circles for a good 20 minutes. I asked for 1/3 of our money back since we had to deal with this and couldn't use the room. He said I was just trying to get a free place to stay, I just wanted what we paid for. I settled for the 85$ cleaning fee which is not fair considering the place was downright gross and he had 0 respect. I would attach videos if I could.

Cute little rustic home

Cute, quiet and peaceful. Needs a little updating. Not all the jets in the hot tub were working, but the ones that did were powerful and massaging. Clise enough drive to the cities we visited while there...Asheville, Hendersonville and Fletcher. Had a restaurant next door to walk to which had good food. Was just enough space for what we needed it for ...sleeping, breakfast and late night drink in the hot tub.
