About Steve Newell

I have been running my own holiday let company since 2006 and have worked in the tourist industry since 1999. During this time I have built up a very good rapour with my many returning gusets from all over the world who come back year after year to Britains Ocean City. Directly opposite the apartment is West Hoe Park which is a huge draw for families all over Plymouth as well as our many visitors from home and abroad. You are only a 10 minute stroll from the city centre and with private off street parking at Parkview, simply leave your car behind and go for a wonder.

Fab apartment close to Plymouth Hoe

We stayed as a family of four at the apartment for 3 nights. The apartment was great, well equipped and comfortable. The location was perfect and cannot fault our trip. The owner Steve was also great with communication on checking in etc. Would highly recommend

Really nice flat for a base

Great, clean, well-equipped flat, perfect for a temporry home while visiting the area. If anything the flat is under-sold on the website - I was pleased to see a private patio garden at the back, wi-fi, Sky TV, designated parking space etc. Really good location too - short walk to the Hoe or onwards to the Barbican.

Wonderful Location - Great Value

This property has a wonderful location, particularly for someone without a vehicle. I was exploring sections of the Coast Path on either side of Plymouth and along the waterfront of the city itself. I could not have picked a better location. And for the average tourist, you are right there, the Plymouth Hoe, restaurants, shops, historic buildings, all within short to moderate walking distances! There is a little food market around the corner for necessities and I highly recommend the By the Park - Cafe and Deli for light meals and wonderful baked goods, just a few doors away.

The property is clean, nicely furnished, very comfortable and has all the necessities you expect from a rental. This is not a high end luxury apartment with a water view, but I felt was an excellent value for someone visiting Plymouth!

Lovely apartment on Plymouth Hoe

Despite my first impression and apprehension when I first drew up outside the building and entered communal hallway they were dismissed the minute i went through the front door of the apartment. Modern decor, clean and well equipped and within easy walking distance of Hoe, Barbican and city centre. Parking space great bonus if a little tight when car next to you. Only real niggle top of wardrobe hadn't been dusted for some while so when getting cases back down got covered in fluff!

Highly recomended

Let me start with the apartment. It is spacious and welcoming. There is room to relax, cook, or just hang out. The sofa is one of the most comfortable we have found at a HomeAway. Storage space is excellent.

The location is ideal. Just round the corner from the Hoe and the ocean, only a few minutes walk from the old part of town, and maybe 10 minutes from the main shopping center - you couldn't ask for more.

The only note of warning is that the parking space is small. My advice - bring a small car and park very carefuly!

The manager, Steve, is responsive and helpful.

I would recommend this location.
