STUNNING VIEWS from luxury & Romantic Cotswolds Cottage
About Tricia Prince
I moved to this part of the Cotswolds in 2004, having absolutely fallen in love with the area , the countryside and finding there was so much to do and see. I have been a Home product designer for many years and so thoroughly enjoyed getting the cottage ready for holiday rental. I love painting, photography and many of my pieces are in the cottage. I love gardening but my most recent passion is my wedding prop hire business...which is ever growing ! Eating out is another sociable pastime I enjoy and there is a list with my comments of some of the local pub/restaurants balancing price and quality!
Tricia Prince purchased this Cottage in 2004
Why Tricia Prince chose Brimscombe
With its lovely warm Cotswolds stone and wooden beams, we fell in love with the cottage instantly and still do not believe how lucky we are to enjoy those simply STUNNING VIEWS. I hope the pictures tell the story. We said WOW to the views 14 years ago and we still say WOW today!

The photos are a 100% true to what it looks like. So beautiful and tranquil. The location is perfect and very central for sightseeing in the Cotswolds area. There are a great selection of pubs and restaurants close by and lovely walks in the area. Tricia is the perfect host and ready with any advice or recommendations you might need.
We can highly recommend this property.
What a View!
A very well appointed cottage with fantastic views. Tricia is a great hostess with lots of local knowledge, and her “starter pack” of groceries was much appreciated. An ideal base to explore the Cotswolds from.
I always hope my pictures do the views justice but so many guests say they didn't expect the view to be "as big" as it is. You can see things happening watching cows on the farm, dog walkers and on still days the gliders and hot air balloons over head! As we are local (next door), it is a pleasure to able to offer up to date suggestions of local activities. I am so pleased you enjoyed your visit back to the area.
I could not have picked a more perfect place for my friends and I to celebrate a special birthday. Tricia was very welcoming and really went out of her way to make our dinner party in the garden extra special. It was an amazing evening with the sun shining and those spectacular views ..... a night we will always remember! The house is lovely too. Immaculately clean, well equipped and with everything of a high quality...... will miss having my early morning coffee looking out at those views from the lovely upstairs sofa! Would recommend to anyone and will definitely be going back! Thanks Tricia for a lovely stay.
Great presentation as described.
Great presentation as described.
I try to ensure that I make an accurate representation and description of the cottage, the views and the area and I happily answer more specific questions about cottage suitability, if requested too!
Beautiful home with amazing view
What a perfect place to stay in the Cotswolds. The home is even prettier in person than in the pictures, if that is possible. Tricia is warm and welcoming and has so much knowledge of the area. You are not located directly in a village but within walking distance of a few. Tricia recommended great places to eat, fun things to do and had everything we needed. The welcome package is perfect for the weary traveler so you can stay and not have to leave to go shopping right away. We came after a transatlantic flight so this was perfect for us. I can not recommend Tricia or the home more.
So pleased you loved Hillcrest cottage and enjoyed your stay. I try to offer what I hope to find in a holiday cottage, so I am always happy to receive ideas to consider too.
We really enjoyed our stay! Tricia is a great host and can’t do enough for you. Every piece of advice she offered was spot on and it helped us make the most of the area. Great walks, spoilt for choice when it comes to nice places to eat and the views were breathtaking. Would definitely stay here again!
It is a great excuse for me to be able to eat out , to pass on suggestions to Hillcrest cottage holiday guests. Really glad you enjoyed the lovely walks - we feel very spoilt!
So many lovely walks from the doorstep, with plenty of pubs, good food and log fires.
This area is full of artisan shops from Cotswold crafts to Vintage purchases. Bid for a bargain at auction(often on TV).
There is a guide in the cottage welcome book.
