About the property

Beautiful 2 floor apartment in Puerto del Carmen with 1 double-bed bedroom, living and dinning room, kitchen, toilet, balcony and patio. It is sited just 70 meters away from beach Playa Grande, one of the best beaches in Lanzarote in a quite location but very central. Very close to restaurants, shops and leisure venues.

The apartment is newly renovated and is completely furnished. It contains: washing machine, air conditioning, glass ceramic hob, microwave, fridge, satellite TV (english, german and spanish channels), toaster, kettle, blankets, towels… and everything you need to enjoy your stay without worries! Also there is cleaning service on request (not included in the price of the renting).

The apartment is in the centre of Puerto del Carmen. In a quite place but less that one minute away from the beach and the main avenue. Very close to restaurants, shops and leisure venues. Taxi and bus station a couple of minutes away. The tourism office very near too. Nice shopping mall and old town 15 minutes walk. There is also a supermarket just 5 minutes away. The airport is 6.5km away (10-15 minutes by car). There are also many rent-a-car offices nearby… essential to visit all the retreats of the island.

Puerto del Carmen is located on the south-east side of Lanzarote and is among the most important tourist spots on the island. There are more than 6km of beaches protected from the trade winds

Puerto del Carmen has a full range of services and numerous entertainment centres located along the expansive Las Playas Avenue: stores, shopping centres, restaurants and bars of all kind, recreational centres, pubs, discos … there are many places that offer live music, shows, bar lounges on a vibrant day and night life.

You can also enjoy all kinds of sports activities: windsurfing, marine excursions, deep sea fishing, scuba diving, golf…

About Cristina

My husband and I bought the property in 2009 to make one of our dreams come true: an apartment in a idyllic and sunny place. In the last four years we have had 3 kids and our expenses have gone up very fast. That's why we have decided to rent our property “Amets” (which means dream in basque languague)... so we can get some extra money and keep the dream going...

It's near to everything in a very calm place but very central at the same time. Just one minute walk to beach Playa Grande, one of the best beaches in Lanzarote.

Amets is very bright and we love that it has a private front patio and that the entrace is in a pedrestian way.

What a fabulous location......

Lovely duplex, very clean & welcoming approx 50 yards from everything from shops restaurants & bars all on the sea front & across the road is a lovely quiet beach. Although all is on your doorstep the duplex is lovely & quiet, also has aircon if needed. Cristina the owner is great to deal with she kept in touch with us right up to the day we left & sent an itinerary/guide to help us.

I can't recommend this duplex enough, a lovely walk is a must to the old town & marina about 15-20 mins walk but some lovely tapas bars & a market on a Friday, also the Tequila Lounge is a fabulous bar not far from the duplex with great friendly staff & good food & entertainment.

Definitely be back 😎?

Great Location. Short distance to beach bars and restaurants

Just got back after a weeks holiday at the Duplex. Short distance to everything, but the duplex is in a quiet street so got a good nights sleep. Communication was very good if you needed to ask Christina anything she responded very quickly. The Duplex had everything we needed. There was even use of a beach bag and towels. For exploring other parts of the island there was a bus stop nearby. Hope to return next year.

Perfect location and very nice and well equipped property

The duplex was spotless and very comfortable. Even though we were very close to the bars and restaurants it was so peaceful. The owner of the duplex Cristina was very kind and helpful. We will be returning very soon.

Nice area & apartment

Had builders in next door the whole time the other side party til 5/6am most nights not a lot of time to relax in apartment, no oven or BBQ, no plastic utensils for microwave apart from that well equipped

Owner's Response: Hi Maxine, I’m so sorry to hear you’ve had such a bad stay in our duplex. If we’d known, we’d have done something about it before. For us it’s very important that our guests have a nice holiday and experience during their stay. It’s a pity we didn’t get that goal with you. :0( As per the building jobs, they told me they’d try to do the least noise. In any case, they’ll finish in a couple of weeks, so that problem will be over soon. As per the neighbour next door, she moved in few weeks ago. I’ve spoken to the landlord (owner) of the property and he said that he’s spoken to her and the problem is solved. He also told me that he doesn’t want problematic people in his property. In regards to the oven and BBQ, we don’t mention at any moment in our advert we have those items in our home. It’s a pity you didn’t ask about them before renting the apartment. I’d have informed you without hesitation and let you know that none of those where in the duplex. We don’t use plastic utensils for microwave because we believe they are harmful and bad for health. But there are plenty of glasses and ceramic flatware to use. All suitable for microwave. Thank you very much for your honest opinion. Keep very well. Cristina

Perfect home away from home!

A gem of an apartment just a few seconds walk from the main strip and beach.

Cristina is a perfect owner, communication was outstanding from the moment I enquired about renting from her. She continued with informative and caring communication right through to the end of our stay.

I also cannot fault Juergen, who manages the property, as he was available and very helpful whilst me and my partner were staying.

The apartment was completely spotlessly clean and everything was on hand that we could want to make our stay comfortable. The listing is accurate and the pictures do not do the apartment justice in just how lovely it is.

The double bed is comfortable and the bedroom has plenty of storage, with a lovely balcony with a view over the sea.

The living area is spacious and peaceful leading out onto your own private patio area with lovely sun almost right through the day. It is very quiet and you would not believe you are so close to the hustle and bustle of the strip's many shops, pubs and restaurants!

I would recommend this property to anyone looking at staying in Puerto Del Carmen and will definitely be re-booking for our next escape to Lanzarote!

The location means you are so close to many wonderful restaurants and you are also close enough to stroll to the old town and harbour. A couple of gems we found were Lomo Alto (between the old and new town), My Kitchen (just up from the harbour in the old town) and The Himalaya (along the strip turning left from the apartment).

We also rented bikes and ventured along the coast to Arrecife and onto Costa Teguise which makes for a lovely day out and with the private and locked patio area of this property, we were not worried about keeping the bikes there overnight.

My only regret is that we only had seven nights!
