1 The Terrace has been refurbished to a high standard in keeping with a character property and is located on Rock Road opposite Rock Water Ski and Sailing Club and Rock beach. The property has direct views of the Camel Estuary and private beach facing garden. Accommodation is split over 4 floors with up to 6 bedrooms. The large open plan living area benefits from a modern kitchen, with flexible seating for small or large groups, and patio doors to a screened sun terrace with estuary views. On the 4th floor is a second terrace with balcony.

About The Owner

We only discovered Rock 5 years ago when we fell in love with the area and the activities it offers. As a family of 6 some of us will drive to Polzeath to surf while others meet on the beach for a morning coffee after enjoying the coastal walk. The afternoons are spent sailing with the thrill seekers preferring to chill at the house or on the beach until the water is calm for an early evening ski or wakeboard followed by a BBQ on the deck or walking to a bistro for dinner. The opportunity to buy and refurbish 1 The Terrace has mean't that we can enjoy all the area has to offer across the seasons, even surfing on Christmas Eve in Santa hats.

What makes this house unique

The central location and layout of the property allows family members and groups to be together or please themselves.... The recipe for a good holiday. The open plan living area means that you can watch the tides come and go while at the kitchen sink or sofa.

We had a wonderful stay over New Year in 1 The Terrace. Very impressed with the quality of the house, amazing space, we could happily fit out party of 8 adults and 8 children (under 6). Location is superb, few minutes to the beach with the most wonderful views. We will definitely be back.

Fabulous location, Stunning house

WOW! The house is just perfect for friends or family to gather, young and old. Location is stunning, restaurants, fishing, beach, pubs, walks even now in the garden. Valerie is so helpful and quickly responds to enquiries attention to detail is great and I would not hesitate to recommend this to all my nearest and dearest. I hope we will one day return. Welcome treats from St Kitts and beers too on the table! Just Perfeck!!

Excellent property in a great location!

Fantastic accommodation, very well thought out for large parties.

Stunning views from the property overlooking the estuary. Easy access to Padstow.

Great location itself in Rock and very close to the Mariners pub who do great food and drink.

Don't think twice about staying here, it's a real treat.

Everything from dealing with the owner to staying at the house and its facilities and cleanliness is 5*. You will be hard pushed to stay anywhere as nice as this. Fingers crossed we will be lucky enough to stay again in the future!

A first class property in a wonderful location. The house is immaculate and has everything you could need. Rock itself has shops, cafes and good pubs and restaurants. The beach and sandunes are 3-4 mins walk away.

Rock is one of the major watersports centres on the cornish coast with sailing/water skiing /wakeboard/ paddle boarding/kyaking /deep sea fishing all 3 minute walk from the property. Access to Padstow by water taxi or ferry that runs an all year service, From Padstow access the famous Camel Trail cycle path. Beautiful coastal walks to Daymer Bay and Polzeath ( or a 10 minute drive away) for one of cornwalls top surf destinations. Daily shopping needs are catered for in the village ( bakers, butchers, fishmongers and delicatessan) Excellent restaurants nearby including celebrity chef owned Rick Stien's, Nathan Outlaw, and Paul Ainsworth ( be sure to book well in advance)
