On entry you have a living area and King size luxury double bed - there is a leather 2 person sofa and large top-of-the-range Sharp flat screen TV, DVD and CD/radio and high quality harman/kardon bluetooth speaker (Sat TV with Sky news CNN and BBC world/BBC entertainment) and free fibre optic internet access/Wifi. The studio has been completely refurbished throughout with clean and refreshing white furnishing and dark hardwood floors. There is air cooling/air heating system. From the living area the double glazed sliding doors open up onto a large balcony (that catches the afternoon sun facing West) the studio is at the rear of the building - so the balcony and room itself is very quiet (no street noise)The shower room has a large walk in double power shower wash hand basin and WC.There is a small american kitchen with double cooking plate and microwave and fridge kettle, toaster and Nespresso coffee machine - There is a washing machine on balcony.The studio itself is a great base but the real uniqueness of this property is the roof swimmingpool and sunbathing area (there is a 2nd paddling pool for toddlers) which is located on 8th floor - and the clubhouse lounge (perfect for enjoying breakfast or an early evening glass of wine) which is located on 7th floor - these both face fully south and offer unique views over the Baie des Anges and and beach area (they are non staffed) For sun lovers this is unique as the only independent apartment building in this location with roof top pool (the pool is open mid May - mid Oct) The building is also very secure (there is a permanent concierge and entrance is via electric doors and an escalator) and well maintained ideal for a couple or single person - looking for what is an independent studio with the facilities of a 4* hotel.
Cleaning and linen charge:
To offer a high standard presentation of apartment - There is an additional 80 euro payment which covers your end-of-stay cleaning and fresh professionally laundered, high quality linens and towels.
Also included is a welcome pack with good quality bottle of bio Rose wine, orange juice, water and biscuits and also a small sample of L'occitane toiletries.
This is paid at the end of your stay in cash full details are provided on booking. This an additional to the rental price shown on the right of screen.

The flat in the Royal Luxembourg, which we now refer to as 'our flat', was just perfect for our stay in Nice. Ideally located on Promenade des Anglais, it was a short bus ride directly from the airport, so it was easy to find after our flight. The flat had everything we could have wanted - a lovely bathroom, a kitchenette, a big bed, a balcony, a washing machine, tv, wifi, storage, etc. It was so relaxing to have our own space, to choose whether to sleep in late, or cook a meal, etc. without thinking about the logistics in a hotel which often mean you don't feel entirely 'at home'. Studio 2 was our home from home, close to the beach, with some excellent restaurants nearby, great shopping. The only disappointment was that the roof-top swimming pool was not yet open, as the weather was so good we could easily have gone swimming. The flat was immaculately clean - all credit to the Go-Nice team. The process of collecting the keys at the airport, and booking the flat initially, was quick and easy - extra thanks to Go-Nice's Merilyn for all her helpful emails. We have spent the weeks since we got home wishing we were still in Nice, in Flat 2 in the Royal Luxembourg, and we will definitely get back to Nice soon! Thanks for a fab place to stay!!!
Best location anywhere in Nice with an excellent roof deck amd pool overlooking the beaches. The apartment is smaller than it looks on the photos and getting a bit down at heel in condition but was clean and tidy when we arrived. The Go-Nice team were superb when we complained about the noise from the ongoing building work and Paul immediately offered us a second apartment of our choice at no cost so we could get a good nights sleep but still use the pool and Lux 2 apartment during the day. We will definitely be using Go-Nice in the future when we come back. They were reponsive, understanding and helpful every time we dropped in to see them.
The restaurants in the immediate area are pretty much all low quality tourist traps but we did find some excellent places to eat great meals at very low prices. The La Grande Bleue (you need to book the day before) on the corner of Rue D'Italie and Rue D'Angleterre was amazing and only €52 for 2 special paella (langoustine, giant prawns, fresh fish), a bottle of provencial Rose and two great coffee's. We went back on our last night and had great seafood fideua , 2 500ml carafes of Rose and 2 coffees for €42 total for 2. Coco and Rico on Rue Dalpozzo was also excellent and reasonable at €104 for 2 with 3 courses, a bottle of decent wine and 2 coffees. In the old town we ate at Acchiardo on Rue Droite. Although it was full of tourists, the food was pretty good and the prices not too steep. i think it was around €80 for two with 2 courses each and a bottle of wine, but don't believe the hype that this is a top secret find only known to the locals - it's not. overall Nice was a fantastic place for a holiday and we'll definitely be back and will use Go-Nice when we do. Weather in mid-September was genrally hot, sunny and 35 degrees with 1 rainy day over an 8 day stay.
Lo studio era attrezzato di tutte le necessità che occorrono per un breve soggiorno di 5-7 notti. Ottimo il sistema wifi e la tv con molti canali ma pochi italiani.
Due problemi: safe non funzionante e all'arrivo non abbiamo trovato i flaconcini di shower gel e shampoo come invece indicato nelle foto.
A dream studio and location! - The studio apartment is in one of the unique locations in Nice - Located in the prestiguous building "Royal Luxembourg" which is in prime central position on the Promenade des Anglais and great access for the beach.
