Wonderful property, great location

  • 5 of 5

I rented this home for three weeks in August, and it was perfect for my needs. The separate bedrooms on two floors provide excellent privacy for guests. The shared and private outdoor space was very nice, and the house is very well constructed, quiet and peaceful. Great West End location, close enough to go into the center of town or to walk to the Red Inn for happy hour, etc.

We actually stayed in 2013 on the 4th. The split bedrooms were nice, very open floor plan. Wonderful owners

Great for 2 couples; amazing off-season rate

  • 3 of 5

The layout with one bedroom up and one bedroom down was great for us. Each couple had their own private area when needed and separate bathrooms. The kitchen was nicely stocked with all the appliances and hardware you need. The location is great! Close enough for an easy walk to Commercial St., yet far away enough so that you don't feel like you're in the middle of the madness. The only thing that prevents me from giving a higher rating is the living room furniture. The couches and chair are extremely dated and uncomfortable. A furniture upgrade would get this place 5 stars.

Owner's Response: Thank you for your comments. Sorry you didn't like the comfort of mid-century furniture. The property is advertised as furnished with mid-century furniture. I agree it is a different comfort than some other sofas/couches ... We had the inside of 3 piece 1960 sectional sofa restored. I believe the Sea foam color fabric is a silk/cotton blend that is original, and even though in excellent shape ( it was covered in plastic until 6 yers ago) it has a different feel, and in colder weather might be best accompanied by a throw. Most of our guests are repeats and rent this unit in part because of the mid-century furniture. Please keep in mind that our other two apartments do not have mid-century couches or chairs.

Enjoy the best of P-town at this great location!

  • 5 of 5

The location of this rental was the best. Very close to many fine dining establishments and cafes (Red Inn, Sal's, and Relish are the ones we tried), we were also a short walk to the main part of town for shopping and nightlife. We were also within walking distance to the Breakwater rocks, where you can walk out to the Wood's End lighthouse, and a bike rental shop so we could explore the dune path and other farther locations.

Our hosts were always available when we had a question, yet gave us privacy at all other times. A delight!

The price was very reasonable for the amenities provided-A great deck, laundry room, 2 bathrooms, and gorgeous retro stylings and original art. A fabulous stay overall!

The apartment is walking distance to great restaurants, beautiful harbor beaches, boat rentals to secluded beaches, whale watch boats, art galleries, clubs, bike rides through the National Seashore, shopping and theater. Every night has something to offer in Provincetown and all the activities are a short walk away; however, the house is located in one of the most beautiful, quiet neighborhoods.

Other Activities: art, theatre, clubs, drag shows, film,

Golf: yes
