Great location nice property
Enjoyed our visit
Un accueil très chaleureux de la part du propriétaire. La location est conforme à la description, très propre et très bien située.
Une semaine très agréable et à recommander.
Wonderful studio apartment in a fantastic location.
This is a lovely studio apartment in the centre of Cannes. The booking process was very efficient from start to finish and Jonathan was at the apartment to greet us on our arrival and on our departure. Jonathan also emailed us lots of information prior to arriving which was also extremely helpful. The apartment itself has all the amenities that you need for a holiday and all in good working condition. It was very clean, nicely decorated and very comfortable. The apartment also has an extremely large patio which is lovely to sit and have drinks on and relax on the loungers. We have stayed in Cannes many times and the apartment and area are a real gem, I would highly recommend. We intend to return next year so thank you very much Jonathan for a wonderful holiday.
It was a pleasure having this couple to stay.
ruined by maintenance & building work with no warning.
Not being able to use the outside space (which was a big selling point) because of scaffolding & building materials ruined the stay somewhat. At times we couldn't even open the shutters because of the work going on which made the studio dark and even more cramped with the outside table & chairs stored in the living room.
The double whammy for the last few days was the ripping out of the inside of the adjoining studio. The drilling & banging was terrible from 8am till evening.
If and when the work is finally complete and screening is put up it might be ok to sit out for a bit more space although totally surrounded & overlooked. Would regard it as a business stay or somewhere to put your head down for the night not really a holiday let.
The two stars are for the great location with good restaurants and cafes literally on the doorstep and only a couple of minutes from Croisette, station & shops.
The re-painting of the outside of the building, of which I was not informed in advance, unfortunately coincided with this couple's stay. This work is now finished, and now the large terrace (six by four metres) is once again a veritable summer living space, full of sunshine (and shade), with sunloungers, dining table and chairs - a real asset in the centre of Cannes!
Great studio apartment in a very central location
What a lovely apartment! In a great location close to the beach ,shops and the railway station.A great pied a terre with no noise. The large terrace is a bonus and can be used for both breakfast and evening drinks. We will certainly return .Jonathan was very helpful and met us at the apartment to show us around and even left us water and wine in the fridge -a welcome sight on a Sunday evening
If you wish to stay in the centre of Cannes you won't find a much better central location than this. We visited Cannes in September and stayed at Jonathon's studio in Rue Hoche, only a 1 minute walk to Rue d'Antibes and a 2 minute walk to the Croisette and beach. Jonathon met us on arrival and showed us where everything was. As we were there for 10 days he kindly included an extra set of bed linen and extra bath towels.
The studio was spotless and very comfortable, with a large terrace where we had our breakfast every morning. There's a great selection of quality restaurants and bars right outside the door on Rue Hoche that are reasonably priced.
We would recommend this studio for anyone visiting Cannes for a short visit who wants to be in the centre or for anyone attending the conferences at the Palais De Festivals.
World renowned for the glamour of it's International Film Festival every May, Cannes is one of the chicest resorts on the Cote d'Azur, and a shopperholics paradise! With it's beautiful beaches, smart restaurants, trendy nightclubs and easy access by motorway or train to Monte Carlo or Nice, or boat to St Tropez (summer months) or the Lerin Islands, and close to the beautiful hillside towns of St Paul de Vence, Grasse and Mougins, Cannes is an ideal place to stay. The apartment has bars, cafes, restaurants and shops just a step away, with the daily market at Place Gambetta just 100 m stroll for delicious fresh, often local, produce. A mini-supermarket is just across the road, and the excellent food hall of Monoprix just 2 minutes walk. The old town, Le Suquet, has many more restaurants, and great views, just 1/2 kilometre away.
Other Activities: The Film Festival, Trade Shows etc take place just 4 mins walk at the Palais
