Enjoy the comfort and great location!

You will love the green and quiet area, it has everything you need with easy acces to the center through public transportation (10 minutes) or by bike (also 10 minutes)

One for the kids there is a big playground and mini zoo !!

it's located on the west side of the city center. It has a fantastic view overlooking the typical Amsterdam Canals and classical Erasmus Park.

The area is quiet, safe and relaxed and the surroundings are lush green with parks, canals and shops at a very close proximity, its only about 10 minutes to the heart of the city center by bike. Bike rentals are very close. Public transportation to anywhere in and around the city is two minutes away, vey easy transportation day and night.

The apartment is very light and enjoys the sun all day long. It has a fantastic location in between parks and close to public transportation. It has leg refurnibished recently with new kitchen and bathroom. You will have everything you'll need to feel at home at your disposal. (wifi internet, HD TV, modern kitchen, big screen TV, luxurious bathroom, king-size bed, central heating, DVD, and more) Both sides of the apartment have sunny balconies overlooking the typical Amsterdam canals.

If you cross the bridge you're in the parc (2 min) The Vondelparc is ook nearby (10min). In the nearby area you'll find different daily grocery shops, post office, bank, etc. (5 minutes walk or 1 minute bike ride)

There are numerous at restaurants with usefull for example Thai, Turkish, Suriname, and Moroccan cuisine's. The apartment itself is no smoking on the balconies but its fine. Parties are not allowed in the city but you'll find plenty.

Easy Access to Central Amsterdam, View of Park and Canal, Quiet and Non-Touristy Neighbourhood

Everything went smoothly and as described up front. Great Amsterdam accommodation value (price to quality ratio). Especially enjoyed quick access to Erasmus Park (in view of apartment) where I could run circuits. Easy access to city via trams. Found the big fan and drying racks great for doing laundry.

Great vacation

Apartment is in a quiet residential neighborhood away from the noise of central Amsterdam. Trams 12 and 14, very close by, can take you to museums and all the tourist sights in 15 minutes.

There are plenty of bars, restaurants and shopping within a 10 minute walk.

Apartment is clean and comfortable with all the things we needed including a washing machine.

Bryan, the owner, met us and gave us many tips on transportation and places to eat in the area.

Be prepared to climb some stairs to the apartment, it is on the top floor. There is a nice view of the canal and park.

Best place to stay!

I loved this place. Location was convenient, not a crowded area which we enjoyed. Amazing views and the host was so nice and helpful. Apartment had everything we needed and was very comfortable. Highly recommend!

Loved it!

Loved coming back from all the craziness of the city to a nice, quiet neighborhood. Convenient to tram stops and lovely view of the canal. Having goats/sheep/donkey across the street didn't hurt either :) would recommend this property!

Be prepared to enter a private home

We found the apartment very nice regarding space, kitchen, bed, bathroom, sofa and TV. Also the area is nice. It was nice that the owner had an assortment of salt, pepper, oil, vinegar and tea and coffee that we could use. The cleaning of floors, bathroom, bed and horizontal surfaces were also fine. We appreciated that it was easy to get in contact with the owner and that he was very responsive.

It might be standard in Amsterdam, but just as some former guests mentioned in their review, we also found the staircase to the 3rd floor narrow and steep and difficult to climb with our suitcases. Guests should be aware of that.

Regarding the interior in the living room there was some mismatch between the photos on the HomeAway website and what we found in the apartment. I have suggested the owner to remove some of his private things and make the apartment look like the photos.

Welcome to the best of both worlds, it's located on the west side of the city center. The area is relaxed and the surroundings are green, its only about 10 minutes to the city center by bike. Public transportation to anywhere in and around the city is 2 minutes away. The apartment is very light and HAS BEEN totally refurnished 1.5 years ago. You will have all the luxuries you'll need at your disposal. (Modern kitchen, big screen TV, luxurious bathroom, queen-sized bed, central heating, DVD, WiFi and more) Both sides of the apartment have sunny balconies overlooking the typical Amsterdam canals. If you cross the bridge you're in the parc (2 min) The Vondelparc is ook nearby (10min). In the nearby area you'll find different daily grocery shops, post office, bank, etc. (5 minutes walk or 1 minute bike ride) There are numerous at restaurants with usefull for example Thai, Turkish, Suriname, and Moroccan cuisine's. If you have experience driving a boat for hire there is one right in front of the apartment, if you do not you can hire ook it with a driver for an unforgettable experience from the Amsterdam canals. The apartment itself is no smoking on the balconies but its fine. Parties are not allowed in the city but you'll find plenty.
