From our hurried (late) arrival, to our final fond farewell to lovely little Casa Silvana, we received nothing but good impressions and exquisite hospitality from simpatico Roberto, the manager. In addition to helping us with small household matters, he provided excellent advice on restaurants, all of which we took! The property itself is a small, sparkling all-white apartment tucked away in a lovely grove of varied palms, with everything we needed to feel at home for our week in Sorrento. Even the very tiny kitchenette-closet worked for preparing a simple meal one night. A stroll through the garden to our own private terrace became a highlight twice a day. We enjoyed morning coffee and twilight wine while watching the busy boats down in the harbor on the Golfo di Napoli, with Vesuvio presiding in the misty distance. As for the location in the city, I cannot imagine a more convenient one. Just steps from the central Piazza Tasso and Piazza Lauro, with their charming shops and delightful ristoranti, and an easy stroll to the little Deco supermarket. All in all, we felt like true Sorrentini for seven days, thanks to the homelike comfort of Casa Silvana. I hope we can return one day!
Beautiful cottage. Quit, peaceful but minutes from the shops, resturants and cafes.Great location.
Staff fantastic on making your vist a pleasure. I will make this cottage my home away from home. Love it!
So here I am it's pouring down so reading looking out at the lush garden from our bedroom . To be fair the weather hadn't been too bad except for the last 2 days
This little cottage is lovely and idea for a couple . The owner is kind and helpful .
As there are no weddings this week we have be allowed to sit in the main villas main terrace which is such a treat .
Our only disappointment ( other than the weather ) is unlike you believe with the photos on the web site the terrance is in fact a walk through the gardens to a small table and chairs and not outside the cottage as the pictures would have you think .
Also there is no where to get towels dry at all at this time of the year as its still early in the season so we suggest a towel change serivce would be helpful as having damp towels all the time is no fun!
