Overview

About the property

ONCE YOU HAVE ENTERED YOU MAY NOT EVER WANT TO LEAVE.

This property is located on the edge of the San Sebastian inlet in the city of Saint Augustine. This is a 2 story house and unit B is located on the second floor of the home. From the space on the second floor you can enjoy the panoramic view and the many marinas through the oversize windows and front porch. Sailboats, Shrimp boats and other water vessels provide a rich visual feast. The scene is always changing. In the spring, the light green and blues of the marsh shimmer in the soft light. Later in the year, dark green and browns are more visible. As the tide comes in and out, birds both small and large come in to feed, rest and roost.

Beautiful

  • 5 of 5

My husband and I had a wonderful stay at Marina Sunsets. The furnishings are very nice. The walls are covered with the owners beautiful art work. We rarely were in our car. We walked to everywhere we wanted to go and felt safe in the neighborhood. The area was extremely quiet too. I really liked how well stocked the place was. There was plenty of towels, soap, garbage bags ect.

Just as you see in the photos. Only better in person! Perfect place stay. They have thought of everything. Bring your toothbrush and relax. Terrific, quiet location. Close to town. Terrific views.

Great inside but need some attention outside.

  • 4 of 5

Some of the trees and potted plants need dead leaves removed and trimmed back. Inside of house was great. Although we did leave a note on a few maintenance suggestions. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Great location! Cozy condo, perfect for a relaxing retreat!

  • 5 of 5

The condo was in an ideal location, down the street from the distillery and walking distance to a few great restaurants and St Augustine attractions. The condo was comfortable with all the needed amenities to feel like home. We enjoyed sitting on the back porch watching the wildlife and an evening storm roll in. It was just what we needed for some weekend R&R!

Beautiful apartment! Wonderful Owners.

  • 5 of 5

We spent a terrific week in Michael and Hyacinth's Marina Sunsets apartment. We were welcomed with snacks and a bottle of wine. The apartment was clean and comfortable, looks just like the pictures online. Except now the living room is minus the two gorgeous paintings that we bought from Hyacinth that now hang proudly above our bed! Michael welcomed us when we arrived and let us know they were available for questions or to resolve any problems. We have already given recommendations to friends who plan to travel to St. Augustine that they need to stay here, too. We loved sitting on the front and back porches with the lovely breezes. Thank you so much for the lovely time!

Owner's Response: Thank you for your kind remarks, your purchase and the pictures. It was good to see the paintings in your home. For our future guest we replaced them with another of our treasured paintings.

We were here for the golf at sawgrass and stayed at this wonderful place. Its in a very quiet area of st Augstine and a 10-15 min walk from all the bars and restaurants and shops very spacious inside and very tastefully furnished lovely to sit on the veranda in the rocking chairs and watch the sun set the owners Michael and Hyacinths communication was exelent would highly recommend this property as it is a gem.

St. Augustine has a 450 year history in the making. It is truly a gem. Its lively and diverse downtown and close proximity to the beach makes it both stimulating and relaxing. The downtown area provides live music, entertainment, shopping, sight seeing, dining, bicycle and scooter rentals. The World Golf village is about 20 minutes drive north of the city. The Tour Trains provides transportation and information to the many attractions such as the San Sabastian Winery, The Ice House Distillery, Whetstone Chocolate factor, the Fort Castillo De San Marcos and many others. Romance is always in the air in St. Augustine and the city has become a popular place to get married. Often brides and bridal parties can be seen on Horse drawn carriages winding in and out of the downtown city streets. The old and the new provide an interesting mixture that will add to ones memorable moments.

Vilano Beach is north and east. Across the Bridge of Lions is St. Augustine Beach. Both beaches are about a 7 minute drive away. St. Augustine Beach Pier is a popular spot to view Sunsets and fish off the pier. surfing is also a popular activity in this area. The Amphitheatre on A1A host many musical events. The Anesthesia State Park has preserved an area where one can enjoy the feeling of being taken back in time. The people of St. Augustine are most welcoming, helpful and friendly.
