The Lodge
Lovely house, garden & amenities. Everything we needed and more. Ideal for our family of both two and four legged individuals aged between 18 months and 64 years. The hot tub & sauna were a particular hit with all those with two legs. We had a great time, plan a revisit and we would recommend The Lodge to anyone.

What a lovely cottage!
Great place for a family to stay, the garden and swing were much used by the children and the hot tub and sauna were perfect for the adults to chill. It had everything needed for a family holiday. The head height in the top room is a bit of an issue but it was great to have the extra private space. Access to the lane is very narrow so the Tesco van wouldn’t come to the cottage, we had to walk to the top of the lane though we had no difficulty accessing with our cars! Very helpful owner with good communication and a lovely bottle of wine for our arrival. All members of the family were very happy with our stay from ages 6-65!

Girls weekend
Lovely property in great location with great facilities. Good outdoor space and very sociable indoor space. Access is tight along a little lane so larger vehicles would possibly struggle.

About the host

Hosted by Frankie Allsop

Host profile image
The cottage is owned by Sarah Burrows and Paul Allsop. We live in Hale, Cheshire with our three daughters. We have visited Morfa Nefyn for many years. In 2008 we bought our first cottage there (Boom Cottage - HomeAway ref 405365) and have loved spending a lot of time there.

Why they chose this property

The Lodge is a beautiful cottage and ideally located - when you see it you will understand why we bought it!

What makes this property unique

The Lodge has a number of unique benefits - such as the beautiful garden ideal for children to play in, full gas central heating (this is rare in the area as there is no mains gas), fully fitted quality kitchen with granite worktops, log burning stove and of course the hot tub and sauna available all year round for guests to relax in after a busy day walking or on the beach. We now have a table football table and outdoor table tennis table.
