Situated in a listed building with a lift, this luxurious apartment offers the glamour of a hotel with the comfort of home. Both bedrooms are large and have one superking size bed in each. The ensuite bathroom is very indulgent whilst the second bathroom has a huge wet room shower and separate bath. The kitchen is fitted out to a high specification with all mod cons. This is a great place to explore from or just have a romantic weekend away - sorry, but the apartment is NOT available people with babies/children or pets or parties.

The apartment is situated right in the City centre, walking distance to almost everything you would need for business or pleasure whether you are young or old. Too many shops, restaurants, bars and museums to mention within walking distance including Sainsburys, Tesco, Marks & Spencer, John Lewis, GMOMA, the world famous Kelvinggrove Art Gallery and Museum, the wonderful Botanic Gardens. A fabulous base to explore the City and West End by foot or public transport. The countryside starts within 15 minute drive of Glasgow - where you can explore Loch Lomond, the Trossachs, the west coast, Highlands, Islands, Edinburgh for the Festival (45 mins by train/car) and Gleneagles for golf (1 hour by train/car). West Highland Way for the walkers - but Glasgow has so much to offer you might not want to leave - come explore.

spacious and well appointed but fell short of expectations

We enjoyed our stay but felt it could have been so much better. On the positive side, a great location, easy access, comfortable and easy to chill out. The apartment was clean and first impressions were of comfort with a bit of pzazz. But regrettably can't give more than 3-Stars as there were too many niggles: in general the main kitchen appliances were 'tired' - all had one or other fault that required consideration when using. A lack of regular testing and maintenance seems evident. Billed as 'complete with all mod-cons', we felt that the cafetiere instead of a coffee machine fell short of today's expectations and also missed the convenience of a microwave. On arrival we were asked to not use the master ensuite shower for 2 days due to a sealant failure. One of the wardrobe doors had also failed leaving only one third of the storage volume available. Not great.

Fabulous super-king beds with high quality linen was great although it took us a few nights to get used to the memory foam mattresses.

Having in some part booked this apartment of the back of so many rapturous reviews, I wondered if we were expecting too much but have concluded that at the daily rate this apartment commands it's fair to expect that appliances work as they should and that there are no plumbing or other issues.

Owner's Response: Hi Chris, thank you for your review. Obviously I'm sorry you were disappointed with the apartment. If I may just commet on your review. My apartment is regularly maintained hence the shower sealant was rectified as soon as was possible and unfortunately it was done the morning you all arrived and yes I did ask you to use the other shower for two nights out of the twelve that you stayed. Regarding the list of items, on my home page it does say what is and what is not provided so these items including the £3000 Tempur mattress were not unknown to you prior to you booking. Regarding the wardrobe which I asked you not to use when you arrived as it does jamb but there was an entire wall of hanging rails available plus a shoe cabinet that holds 50 pairs of shoes and two very large chest of drawers, I do believe you had ample storage space. Finally regarding the amount, I think that £50 per person per night in a huge apartment in the centre of Glasgow is pretty good value. Again I am sorry that you were left disappointed in the apartment, but hope you enjoyed your stay in Glasgow in every other way.

A fantastic spacious apartment with loads of space to relax after enjoying the nearby shops and restaurants.Great city centre location with everything you need within easy walking distance.The apartment is immaculate with modern kitchen and luxurious bathrooms and showers. A very warm and relaxing place to stay.The bed was so comfortable too.!

The owner (Caroline ) is very helpful and met us on arrival. A really lovely apartment in a great location .I really enjoyed my stay here and really hope I get the opportunity to do so again .

Clean, modern flat in a great location in central Glasgow. Convenient to transit, nightlife, shops

Catherine met us on arrival. The flat is newly redecorated and located in a nice building in downtown Glasgow. We enjoyed strolling to the local restaurants and clubs as well as easy access to both of the city's major train stations for travel to London and to the coast. The flat was comfortable and attractive. The only downside was the memory foam mattress which was less comfortable than the standard type we were uses to. The heating system was the central boiler type without a wall mounted thermostat which ran on a timer. Since we found the temperature in the flat a bit chilly, we had to do a bit of research on the web to adjust the heating to our liking.

We would go back again.

Also I wish you had contacted me about the heating I could have told you how to advance the heating without you having to trawl Google. Hope it hasn't put you off visiting our beautiful city again. Lovely accommodations and spotlessly clean!

My husband and I enjoyed our stay here very much. We chose this apartment because of the location, but it turned out to be so much more than just well-located. The location is great, but the apartment is sensational. Caroline has thought of everything. She is the perfect host, and was very responsive and helpful before and during our stay. Highly recommended!

Super, well located apartment

Stay here! You won't be disappointed. The apartment is within walking distance to many attractions and to the hop on hop off bus that will take you all around Glasgow. Great city with lots to see and do.

The apartment is huge, very well appointed and much bigger than the pictures show. Our hostess Caroline was there to greet us and to provide tons of good information about shopping, places to see and to eat along with commentary about some of the restaurants we had chosen from home based on internet information. Her recommendations proved right on. She is outgoing and very easy to deal with. We (three ladies) were thrilled with our stay in Glasgow and would return to this wonderful apartment again and again.

The ideal Glasgow launching pad!

It's difficult to expand on what other reviewers have written about this spectacular apartment, but suffice it to say that this City Centre home was the perfect launching pad for for our 8-day stay in Glasgow. We were in town during the last week of July accompanying our son, who was presenting at the ISME Conference. His mom and I took advantage of the time to explore Glasgow and much of Scotland, and while Glasgow isn't ideally situated for a complete exploration of this beautiful nation, if you're looking for perfection in Glasgow, look no further than Caroline's apartment.

We didn't have a car and didn't need one. Two of Scotland's best restaurants are literally within two or so blocks walking, and a 15-minute walk gives you access to literally dozens and dozens of fantastic places to eat, shop and more. We're history buffs and each day, while in town, we'd walk three blocks to our favorite Starbucks and either walk to museums, historic sites, etc., or jump up on the "hop on, hop off" bus to tour the city.

The location, obviously, is ideal. But the apartment is ideal as well - much larger than we expected, roomy and comfortable, well-appointed, safe, secure...really everything that you could want. We felt at home in no time at all, and leaving was difficult - it felt like we were moving away from a cherished place.

I couldn't recommend this apartment more highly...
