This terrific newly refurbished villa has a fabulous new pool, brand new kitchen, electric shutters and air conditioning throughout. With a fantastic location beside the beach there is even a door from the back garden for quick access to the beach which is about 50 paces away!

From the villa's charming hallway stairs lead up to the kitchen, guest bathroom and lounge/dining area which opens onto a sunny veranda with sea views. The bedrooms are on the ground floor, a few steps down from the front hall.

The new kitchen is squeaky clean with lots of storage and all the appliances, pots and pans you will need for your holiday as well as a useful small breakfast table.The lounge has comfy sofas and easy chairs and a dining area with seating for 6 which has lovely sea views from the doors to the spacious veranda.

Downstairs the en-suite master bedroom opens onto a large patio with table & chairs and the pool area beyond. It is attractively furnished with twin beds, built-in wardrobes and electric shutters. The up-graded en-suite bathroom has a bath with shower over, bidet and toilet.

This super villa is ideal for a family or for couples wanting a gorgeous comfortable villa with private pool and sea views in a prime location next to the beach, restaurants and shops.

Your own private space, but everything in walking distance, so there is no need for a car!

Casa Luz Beach is a special front-line house just 50 paces from the sandy Blue Flag beach.

This attractive villa is located really close to the beach in a little area just off Rua da Varzea and has very recently been refurbished to a high standard to include a newly fitted kitchen, new pool, upgraded bathrooms and full air conditioning plus Free Wi Fi and English language channels on the television.

Luz is a small family resort that has grown around a beautiful protected sandy beach which has been awarded a blue flag for quality and facilities.

Water sports of all kinds are available less than 2 minutes walk from the villa, and there are lots of great restaurants, café bars, shops and ATMs/banks within walking distance. There is a friendly atmosphere in the village and everyone is very warm and helpful.

Lagos is the regional capital and has a larger volume of shops, restaurants and amenities. The attractively paved old narrow streets in the town centre are lined with cafes and restaurants where you can eat inside or at tables on the pavement outside watching the world go by.

Lagos has historical buildings, fort, churches within the still intact ancient town walls as well as a modern marina near the palm-fringed waterfront. There is a daily fish market with amazing displays of fish, a farmer's market and a regular gypsy market selling just about everything you can think of!

There is a cheap and regular bus service from Luz to Lagos and to other beaches in the area. Taxis are also reasonable in cost and widely available.

Close to Lagos and Luz is the popular Lagos Zoo, and there are several water parks and Zoo Marine within a 30 minute drive.

There is tennis, horse riding, cycling, wonderful coastal walks and virtually every outdoor activity available in the area.

There are 2 golf courses within 10 minutes drive: Boa Vista Golf, and Espiche Golf and several others about 15 minutes drive.

A car is not necessary for guests at this villa, but hiring a car will open up a whole new set of possibilities. The wonderful coastline to the east and west of Luz is amazing with fantastic towering cliffs, little coves and sometimes longer stretches of beaches, occasional excellent beach-side restaurants and small white and blue villages. Further west the coast becomes even more rugged, battered by the Atlantic, which can be enjoyed from a small coastal road.

There is so much to do in the area, that's if you can tear yourself away from the pool and the beach ... Maybe next time!
