S.Agata Feltria, though, is also poetry and history. You can feel the history from the beautiful buildings of the town and also from the inhabitants, who are proud of such a lovely little medieval village full charm and with an unspoiled nature.
You will have to visit the unique fortress 'Rocca Fregoso' where the families Malatesta, Montefeltro and Fregoso lived. The theatre 'Teatro Angelo Mariani' is a jewel and it became even more famous when in the twenties the orchestra of the 'Scala di Milano' played the Rigoletto of Verdi and when in 1992 Vittorio Gasman acted there the 'Divina Commedia' which was also taped by the Italy's main TV channel RAI.
