Quaint homely getaway
We had a wonderful time during our stay. The big surprise was that we were only 3 miles from the Chesapeake bay shore with a beautiful beach and picnic area!
Our hostess shared different places to eat and go. She told us about a dinner cruise on the Chester River. It was awesome. There is a lovely garden off the back porch with tables and chairs to relax in. We took many day trips while we were there. It’s less than 2 hours to Rehoboth Beach and St. Micheals.
We thoroughly enjoyed chatting with the owner and listening to her play the piano - we usually caught that when we were coming back from an outing. She is respectful of your privacy and usually plays when we were out.
I would go back there again. This is one of the first vacations we have taken that we were not ready to leave.
