Lovely villa with a private pool in the heart of Costa Dorada, just 6km to the beach!
La Villa de Castellet in Costa Dorada was built 1975 and fully renovated in 2005. Your own private pool (4m x 9m) is available for a refreshing dip after your travels. Settle into 190 square meters of interior space including a large living room, two beautiful terraces, a charming dining room, fully equipped kitchen (dishwasher, washing machine, oven, microwave, refrigerator, coffee maker, toaster, iron, ironing board, etc.), and a variety of other entertaining amenities (two televisions, a stereo, DVD player, exercise bike, and two fireplaces). to help you feel right at home. There is also full air conditioner in the whole house for an additional supplement.
After a day spent on the sandy beaches of Costa Dorada, relax in one of 4 bedrooms in the following arrangements: (1) one double bed, (2) two single beds that can be pushed together to make one double bed, (3) bunk beds (two single beds), (4) two single beds. Two additional beds can be added in the studio for a maximum capacity of 10 guests.

I do not like areas where there are a ton of tourists, so I always search for villas that are near to the area I wish to visit, but provide peace, tranquillity, nature, comfort and a true cultural experience. I grew up in Canada, then lived in the UK for 6 years and now live here in Spain/Catalonia. I love the people, culture, food and emphasis on family in this area. I am not so keen on the 'ma��ana' attitude when performing business activities - but this would be the last of your worries, as you are here to vacation! I finally feel like I have found my home and I look forward to sharing this unique and beautiful area with you.

This location is great for guests looking for an original holiday as it offers an opportunity to enjoy a plethora of different activities for children and adults. It is just a few kilometres from Sitges and Vilanova.
The most famous place in Castellet i la Gornal is the Castillo de Castellet (dating from the year 977, it was restored in 1930), this castle is very important to the ancestors of the zone, it was used as a surveillance point to watch the Foix river Via Herculia (Via Augusta, current AP-7 motorway). Archaeological studies have found human presence in the area from 2500 years ago. Today, the castle has been declared of national cultural interest and it is one of the most interesting places to visit for history and architecture lovers.
