Beautiful detached 6 bedroom, 4 bathroom luxury villa in Arenas de Velez

If you are looking for sun, tranquillity, space and beautiful views at only 15 minutes drive from the sea, Casa Almarie is the place to be. We are on the outskirts of the Sierra Nevada, between Velez-Málaga and Arenas which is 42 minutes from the airport of Málaga, this is a very comfortable luxury villa with private swimming pool, and the comfort of knowing we are close by if you have any concerns and possibly the need of a child sitter.

Around the pool there is ample room for sunbathing on the sun-loungers and an outside shower to cool the not so adventurous. There is a large sun terrace close by for children to play and at all times to be well observed. The barbecue area is covered and well equipped for snacking outside

The terraces, offer the wonderful scenic views surrounding the villa on all sides. The drive is very spacious and can accommodate a large number of cars and at all times secured with the main entrance controlled by an electric gate,

We have a small orchard and very pleasant garden features for you to enjoy.

Although we are enclosed, we have many nationalities around us, always ready with a friendly smile .

In Torre del Mar, you will find supermarkets, restaurants,a pharmacy,a Hospital and everything you need for a carefree holiday.

The distance from Casa Almarie villa to the sea is approx10 km. Both Caletta and Torre del Mar have pleasant beaches a delightful boulevard and widely offers plenty of shops, terraces and restaurants.

Torrox Costa, and Nerja with its famous historical caves are very popular holiday visits, and only a short drive from Torre del Mar and more than worth a day away from sunbathing.

Un havre de paix au sommet d'une colline

Very nice & quiete house for very good moments in family (we were 9 people: 4 adults, 2 teenagers 16 & 17 ,and 1 Kid).

The house is exactly as described in the announcement: 5 large and comfortable rooms , air conditioning or ventilators, very appreciated during this summer.

The kitchen is very well equipped and the lounge is very pleasant (wifi free).

We spent most of our time on the big shaded terrace which was our place of life to eat, to discuss or to read. But especially, to take advantage of a magnificent view on the neighbouring hills and on the see.

Although the sea is not far, we also appreciated the swimming pool and all the sunbathings available.

But all this would be nothing without the incredible welcome of Rosemary and Alan (they had filled fridge for our first day). Rosemary drove us the 2nd day, to show us the best places for shopping.

Regularly we found figs, freshly picked by Rosemary and Alan, on the table of the terrace. …

nice villa with amazing views

We spent 3 weeks in this villa this summer and had very nice and relaxing time. The house is very spacious and clean, well equipped and with essential air-condiotion in 3 bedrooms, and of course wi-fi. The outside area is well maintained as well as the big pool. You will definitely enjoy amazing views of the sea and the mountains, as the house is on top of the hill around 700m above the sea level. The owners who live next door, Alan and Rosemary, are very helpful and friendly, they showed us local shopping, restaurants, beaches etc. The area offers many activities,but mainly all the beaches are very near as well as shopping and restaurants. Very nice area indeed, clean beaches, clean sea, good food, lovely house and views, all there for an enjoyable holiday. Thank you Alan and Rosemary for your hospitality!

Wonderful holidays

Rosemary and Alan are exceptional, extremely kind hosts, trying to please and making sure that everything goes well for all.

They had gone shopping before our arrival, the refrigerator was full and Rosemary had prepared a meal for the evening to welcome us. They are just near the house but no intrusion, just in case we need something they are always happy to help.

The access to the house is very simple, the road coming to be redone at the bottom of the coline.

We were 10 people (including children) and we all spent good time there, beautiful location, wonderful accomodations, sun, swimming pool, lots of sites to visit, house very quite in the mountain but near to everything.

We did enjoy our stay.

Belle villa avec piscine

Nous avons passé 10 jours bien agréables dans cette villa très bien équipée et très bien entretenue. Il ne manque aucun accessoire pour cuisiner ! La vue sur les montagnes et la mer est vraiment l'atout majeur de cette location. La grande piscine est aussi très appréciable par les fortes chaleurs et permet de bons moments de détente. Les propriétaires anglais Alan et Rosemary sont adorables : très serviables, toujours prêts à aider et à conseiller. Ils ont un bon feeling avec les enfants. Nos ados en sont fans ! Géographiquement, la maison est assez bien située. Le bourg le plus proche : Velez Malaga mérite une visite avec son petit musée d'art contemporain, sa forteresse et ses restaurants. Les plages, assez variées peuvent contenter les goûts des uns et des autres. Nerja et Malaga (avec son aéroport) ne sont pas très éloignées. Le seul bémol de la location est son accès : la route n'est pas facile pour les vieilles voitures.

Casa Almarie is situated in a beautiful rural location with panoramic views of the Mediterranean and the surrounding mountains.It is accessible by car,with a well constructed concrete road most of the way to the Villa, All necessary amenities are just 15 minutes away and all within 10 Kilometres . This includes a local Hospital and El Ingenio which is a large modern shopping mall which will provide all your shopping needs, also has a very pleasant family eating area. The traditional Spanish coastal town of Torre del Mar has a Water Park, Go Carting for all ages, pleasant ,beaches and,many small independent shops, restaurants, bars and, nightclubs. Nerja and Torrox with its fine beaches is about 30 minutes away, Granada and the Sierra Nevada mountains (skiing) approx.80 minutes, so all in all a very pleasant place for a family holiday offering many opportunities for all ages.
