BEST OF SJCP
This was one of the best stays I have had on SJ. From the host to the grounds we could not of asked for a more pleasant stay. In an area of very private gated homes this was perfect. Unless you can afford $50+++million dollars to purchase one than this quaint villa gets my highest ratings. We look forward to our return next year. 10min walk to town 10 min to large beach and 5 min to private cove. Great water pressure, very important, plenty of room to keep wine and food cold and a great outdoor seating area. The cutest dog, Princess, would stop by for a belly rub/scratch and the sound of the finches was very soothing. Livia gets 5 thumbs up and hope to see her again very soon. Enjoy Colorado.
Splendid stay!
We had a very good stay at the house, 1 mn from the sea and the starting point of the circle walk of the Cap. Or else 6 mn and you are at the beach. Bakery for your dealy croissant is 4 mn. We were a family of 5, 3 kids in the age 17-15-11. The covered area is great, we can imagine in summer for some cool hours it is great. We needed the sun more as it was a little chilly in the morning. As we are 5 tall Dutch people, the upstairs bedroom is under the roof, so you need to watch your head. The house has all you need, including a washing machine/ dryer, which may come in handy. We will come back!
Wonderful week at Villa La Petite Carriere
Spent a wonderful week at this character property on Cap Ferrat just a couple of mins walk from the warm clear sea. Idyllic location with beach and village shops so close where you can buy fresh warm baguettes every morning ! We couldn't have wished for a better holiday and will return again when time permits. We thank our host for making our stay one to remember.
Vacation in St Jean Cap Ferrat
We have rented this lovely house for many years. We love it- and we love the landlady! The house is well equipped with modern appliances. It is very clean and also charmingly decorated.
The little village of St. Jean Cap Ferrat and its other surrounding villages are some of the most beautiful in France. Of course, waking in any part of France is wonderful, but paricularly so in this region.
The Pavillian
On returning from our holiday in St.Jean I wanted to write a review about our accommodation. On opening the site I find someone has written it for me. Please read Donncha Cork Ireland. They are spot on. Just wish this review had been on site when we booked .
1. This description is perfect.
2. " " " " . I would add that the sunlight is only for a few hours early morning. The drain smell is around most of the time. The house is indeed dark dank and smells damp. There is no window to the outside world. One side is high windows onto the scruffy leanto, the other side the window is shuttered off because it overlooks the owners patio. All the bedroom windows are at the rear of the property with a high bank hence the rooms are very dark. To me the house was not too clean, we all have different levels of cleanliness but for me holiday lets should be spotless and this was'nt. The bathroom was so old with many stains and lots of black mould.
3. Again very accurate description. The derelict area at the end of the road is in fact a quarry, lorries dump hardcore and other building rubbish there. The road is very popular with dog walkers, need I say more?
We are a couple and stayed for one week. Most of the time the owner was absent so it was difficult to communicate. We did however make our complaints known. We doubt very much if there will be any change. Usually if we are not pleased with hotel or accommodation we just do not return but I would not like anyone else to be disappointed. My advice, don't go.

A lovely little house with the perfect location for those who seek peace and serenety. Me and my company had a great time, being able to go for a swim in the early morning with the ocean just some hundred meters away
Thank you for the stay
A good review is always much appreciated.
For my part they were lovely young people and perfect guests.
I am glad they were able to experience the 'magic' of this place.
Location
The lovely village of St. Jean is located on the prestigious pine tree covered peninsula of St. Jean Cap Ferrat. The village winds around its charming port and offers various shops, restaurants and cafes. The beaches are all well kept and some offer beach club/restaurant facilities with a variety of watersports. Several beaches are only a few mins walk from the house, the closest being only 100yds. There are many walks around the peninsula with stunning views onto Beaulieu, Cap d'Ail, Italy or Cap d'Antibes and Nice. From St. Jean one can easily explore the region along the coast or up to the mountains. The closest ski resorts are only 1 1/2 hours drive away. The large city of Nice with all its attractions, beaches and shops is only 15 minutes drive away and on the other side Monaco attracts with its casinos, shops, luxury hotels and gourmet restaurants. Italy is just a short train ride or drive with its famous markets and variety of produce.
