Located next to the nicest sandy beach on the south coast of Tinos Island, this traditionally designed, newly built villa on two levels, offers comfortable bedrooms, fully equipped kitchen, ceiling fans in all rooms, Wi-Fi, airconditioning and relaxing accommodation for 6 people.

The lovely sea-views from the south-facing terrace, extend over the Aegean Sea all the way to Mykonos and Delos Islands. - The living-room and dining-room areas open to the tranquil Aegean view from the terrace and feature traditional timber ceilings and Greek seascape paintings that highlight the Cycladic character of the villa. - The bedrooms and internal lobby areas also feature timber ceilings and have full length fitted wardrobes. - The fully equipped bathroom contains bath, shower and a washing machine. - There are ceiling fans in all rooms, fly-screens on all windows and air-conditioning on both levels

The long sandy beach (300m) is only 5 minutes walk, as is the nearest cafe and restaurant. It is one of the most beautiful beaches of the Island, which stretches for more than 1km and is shallow and safe for children.

Tinos town (5 km) is less than 10 minute drive and is full of life with many restaurants, shopping streets, medieval cobbled streets, traditional cafes, bars, and plenty of nightlife for all ages. Coach tours around the island as well as boat trips to the islands of Andros, Syros, Mykonos, Delos, Paros Naxos and Santorini are available on a daily basis from here.

This charming villa overlooking the Aegean sea, so close to the beach and close to all amenities, would be the ideal place for your memorable holidays on the island of Tinos. The Cycladic Island that is often called “the hidden gem of the Aegean".

Best week ever!

  • 4 of 5

The villa is part of a "village type" complex, looking very traditional, but is in fact very modern, with all the facilities one could wish for - exactly as detailed in the description.

We were a family of 5 - Grandma aged 79, Son and daughter in law, and two girls aged 9 and 6. Sleeping arrangements became fairly fluid as a result- with " Nana" being alloted the double bedroom, children and parents using the second (two beds) room, and the extending - and expanding -sofa bed in the living room. It all worked very satisfactorily for all of us. Grandchildren both said they wanted to stay when it was time to go home, and " best week ever" was one of their quotes.

The advice about hiring a car is very wise - from arrival we would recommend, as the drive up to the villa is very steep if you are not young and fit, and unsure about driving up it. The beach is long and sandy, with some interesting rock formations for interest - and fishing from ! There are some good tavernas at the far end of the beach, and a good basic one close by.

Roxanne, who greeted us, was very helpful in getting us to a supermarket on arrival, before escorting us, and a taxi, to the Villa Sifnos at Agios Sostis village. I think we will be coming back again!

Spacious, clean and tidy

  • 5 of 5

We enjoyed our stay in this villa in every way. We were picked up from the Port and taken to our villa by the lovely Roxanne. We were greeted with complimentary wine, water, fresh fruit and biscuits! It has everything you could possible need and everything worked and was clean and of good quality.

It is so peaceful and in a wonderful location for the local beach, just a short walk done the lane. We went for an early swim each day. There is a washing machine, fridge and freezer with copious amounts of hot water for showers. We will be returning yet again! Thank you!

A wonderful Greek experience

  • 5 of 5

Our family of five (three teenagers), enjoyed a wonderful week’s holidays in this charming traditional looking Greek home. From the moment we stepped on the Island and met Roxanne with that big smile and the very helpful attitude, it was evident that the owners were determined we will have good time. The car they assisted us to rent was also waiting for us, just outside the ferry.

The villa was spotlessly clean, comfortable and very well equipped in every way (washing machine, aircon etc). It had a distinct traditional feel and was located in a quiet area with other also traditional looking houses and very close to a lovely sandy beach. There was a beautiful view from the terrace and was really fascinating to watch the ferries passing-by at exactly the same times every day.

We made a good use of the rented car and toured around the Island, exploring the traditional villages, lovely beaches and interesting shops in town. We did not cook (just breakfast). We eat out all the time (very cheap) and promised we will return to Tinos.

This was our very first time in Greece and we are glad we chose Tinos and glad we chose this villa.

Parfait

  • 5 of 5

The villa is situated next to one of the most beautiful sandy beaches on the south side of Tinos Island. It is ideally located near hotels and restaurants, only a short drive from Tinos. Magnificent views of Mykonos, Delos and Rinia, can be enjoyed from its South-facing Terrace.

Fresh fish and traditional Greek dishes are served in the near-by restaurants. Fresh bread and pastries are available at the local bakery every morning. Sun-loungers and umbrellas can be hired at the beach. Tinos town is full of life with many restaurants, shopping streets, paved medieval alleys, traditional coffee shops, bars, and plenty of night-life for all ages.

Unspoiled by the mass tourism, Tinos has retained its original Greek Cycladic authenticity that is open to be explored by the visitor. The refreshing blue waters of the countless beaches and coves that ornate this beautiful Island, are all awaiting to be discovered; and there are breath-taking views while getting there. You will find little taverns and seaside restaurants offering fresh fish and traditional Greek dishes everywhere you go and the prices are great too!

Apart from the impressive Cathedral and the Cultural Centre in Tinos town, the marble-art museum in Pyrgos, the old Ursuline convent in Loutra; Halepas sculpture exhibition and folklore museums in the villages are well worth a visit. Popular summer festivals at the main square of the villages offer traditional music, wine and dance, where everybody is welcomed.

Coach trips around the Island as well as boat trips to the Islands of Andros, Syros, Mykonos, Delos, Paros, Naxos and Santorini, are available from Tinos town on a daily basis.
