A fantastic retreat for couples. Very well maintained and spotlessly clean. Excellent location for exploring Dorset attractions. Waking up in the morning to countryside views through the massive windows was a real bonus. Plenty of wildlife to study. Highly recommended.
Couldn’t recommend this property more! Jane is so kind, welcoming and helpful. The property is amazing, location is peaceful and idyllic and our whole stay was just perfect.
Great place to stay.
Spent 3 nights at the property for a short break. The property is very comfortable, well equipped and very clean. Great place to base yourself for some great walks. Would recommend, and we will be looking to return for a longer stay.
Dorset Dream House
This is one of the most comfortable VRBP properties we have stayed in. It rained most of the time we were there, so we spent more time indoors than we normally would and were grateful for all the natural light and spacious living areas. We were greeted with fresh flowers, homemade scones and a cake, and the table was all set for a romantic dinner. The owners live just a short distance away, but The Old Dairy is built in such a way that you can't see their house or car and feel like you have complete privacy. We especially enjoyed the beautifully designed and well-equipped kitchen, which made it easy to cook at home. Slate and hardwood floors, exposed beams, simple but elegant furnishings, a huge loft bedroom, and a great laundry area made The Old Dairy a place we would very much like to return to. Jane and Martin were the perfect hosts--available if you needed them, invisible if you didn't. We can't recommend this property any more highly.
What a lovely property in an idyllic setting overlooking the countryside. Excellent facilities.
An ideal location for various seaside and countryside locations. Lots of good food pubs, very friendly too. Our accommodation was second to none and we will be returning. Everything was spotless and had a welcoming basket of goodies with cream and milk to accompany them. We would thoroughly recommend this to anyone who would like s totally relaxing holiday as well as a lovely base to travel out from each day. Well equipt with everything. Thank you Jane
A beautiful conversion in a wonderful setting, with everything you could possibly need. Jane and Martin are so friendly and the welcome scones and cake are amazing. Thank you both for creating such an idyllic holiday retreat. Jacqui and Keith x
