About Giorgia

I am the same owner at property #1000121, where you may read reviews also pertaining to me.

Happy Shopping Rome is my latest adventure!

I live few blocks from Casina del Borgo, and will be glad to help at any time with any questions.

Why Giorgia chose Quartiere XV Della Vittoria

This is a great property for travellers that like to get a good night sleep after walking all day. The bathrooms are luxurious and new, if you are picky as I am. The closets are spacious and the neighborhood is a quiet and peaceful residential area, in fact there are two grocery stores at either side of this Street. In fact there is also take'away pizza and sushi along the sidewalk. The kitchenette is convenient for breakfast or quick dinner, but truthfully eating in Rome is divine and can be less expensive than grocery shopping. It is WONDERFUL for several couples travelling together, as everyone had their independent entrance and sleeping area. It is LOVELY for children who can also play outside or in the entrance are...every corner is super clean.

What makes this house unique

If you like to enjoy some outdoor space at beginning or end of the day, you are sure to take advantage our the private garden. Enjoy a coffee or a nice glass of wine on outdoor seating area. Owner happy to help arrange for transfers and local information in general. of wine or coffee in the comfort of a private space. Smoking is allowed in outside areas of Casina del Borgo.

If you are renting a car to visit multiple destinations in Italy, parking it at Casina del Borgo will be safe and simple.

Wonderfull vacation in the middle of Rome

  • 5 of 5

Already our first contact with Giorgia was so warm that we were really looking forward to Rome. Just in time for our arrival, she was already in front of the house and welcomed us warmly. She showed us this, with a lot of attention to detail furnished house. The small house, with its own secured parking, in front of the door is a dream come true, in the midst of this turbulent metropolis.

It was still so small, everything was essential (pots, dishes, glasses) available and more. We did not miss anything! The beds were made, towels were already hung on the heater. The bathroom had a washer dryer.

Giorgia showed us the 15 minute walk to the Vatican Museum. Two supermarkets were not even 5 minutes away from this little house, which actually looks like the pictures - just adorable! The WLAN password was set up immediately.

So we could continue our cheap holiday with independent cooking. It was perfect! Giorgia made it even more perfect: She invited us to a party at her home! What luck we had. A warm feeling went through to this great woman!

We would like to thank you once again and would like to award 5 stars and would award even more, if

Charming accomadation

  • 5 of 5

This is a very clean well equipped apartment with lots of charm and ambiance.Giergia was an amazing host who made us feel safe ,welcome and comfortable.she gave us some good recommendations for eating out,,supermarkets and especially the local gelato, which were all spot on .

The only thing I would say and this is not really a complaint as we managed with a sauspan is it would have be better if there was a kettle..Being Irish and English guests we like our tea and a kettle would have been quicker.

Thank you Very much Gieogia for the welcome pack of wine and lots of other goodies. If ever we venture to Rome again we would definitely come back to this place

Superb hostess! Charming, spotless oasis in city

  • 5 of 5

What a blessing to have had such a gracious host in Giorgia. Her place is an oasis. The courtyard is a particularly relaxing place to sit back and enjoy local food and wine at the end of a long day of sightseeing. And her tips and recommendations on where to eat, shop and visit etc. were spot on. She shares her pride in her surroundings by inviting you to neighbouring business owners who were only too happy to provide excellent service and attention (she's so right about the Gelato and the really good Sushi down the street). The subway is close by and very easy to navigate ( *though we found out the hard way that subway only runs to 10 pm on Mondays and Tuesdays! go to a taxi stop). We especially found the 3 day "O Roma pass" helpful (get it through viator.com) as it included the hop-on-hop-off tour buses and jump-the-line ticket purchases for various sites. The 1-day high speed train ride to Florence was wonderful and also easy to navigate from this location (just grab subway to train station).

Giorgia's thoroughness and willingness to immediately take us up on some suggestions demonstrate that she is a most attentive host. So glad we also took her up on her recommendation of hiring Alessandro's car service as he was on time, had a spotless vehicle and was very responsive. Thank you Giorgia, for your hospitality and for sharing your lovely location. We've already recommended it to several people (one already tried to book but the days were not avaible!). We wish you the good fortune of good houseguests for years to come. Regards, Stewart & Julianne

This location is equidistant from CIPRO and OTTAVIANO metro stops, with a leasurely 15minute walk you can easily reach both Piazza Risorgimento (the beginning of St. Peter's Square) and/or Piazza Mazzini. With a 15 minute straight walk, you can reach both the entrance of the Vatican Museums and/or the beginning of the popular shopping Street where locals go Via Cola di Rienzo.

Thought the entrace to Casina del Borgo is at the end of the tourist area and at the beginning of a residential area, it is surrounded by Grocery Stores (one at each corner) and Coffee Shops & Ice Cream Shops. Therefor, eating out or shopping for food will offer wide variety at convenient prices. Casina del Borgo is on the edge of Piazzale Clodio (200-300meters) where the largest bus stop station is located, for those you want to get downtown by bus (ATAC).
