About Fred Giggenbach
Hi, my name is Fred Giggenbach. I used to walk by The Manse as a child and always dreamed of being inside it. Now, my brother and I own it and love to host guests! We strive to make your stay enjoyable and fun. I am a lawyer and landlord by trade and the city attorney for White Sulphur Springs. I love to play outside and enjoy the outdoors. I look forward to meeting you and making your stay in the Greenbrier Valley memorable.

Our family experienced an unexpected tragedy and we had to make the trip across states to be present for the services. Fred was very easy to work with, regardless of us booking only two days in advance and even accommodated us when the approaching winter storm ran us up a little ahead of schedule. He had a gift basket prepared along with a card expressing his condolences. This alone meant the world to my family and especially my father who just lost his sister. The house is beyond perfect, we loved the feel it put off and was VERY spacious even with our large group of 10. The mountain view from the porch belongs in a postcard! Locals also waved and greeted us in the street and we would definitely love to stay here again under better circumstances.
Great place for a work group.
There were 5 of us that came to White Sulphur Springs for a work project at The Greenbrier.
The house is very conveniently located to The Greenbrier and the dining room table provided a great workspace for everyone.
The Manse was built in 1923 and has a lot of historical charm. We love that it gave everyone space to spread out after the work day.
The owner Fred is very responsive and helpful. We locked ourselves out of the house and he came over after 9pm to let us in. Thanks again!!
We will definitely be back.
Beautiful and well maintained 1923 home.
The house was built in 1923 and the charm and character has been well maintained. There was plenty of room throughout. The large kitchen table was great for playing games with my family. The owner was very quick with responses and we appreciated the welcome snacks left for us in the kitchen upon our arrival.
Christmas family gathering
Place was just what we wanted to enjoy our family together at Christmas
Beautiful, Well-kept Home. Had a great stay
Stayed with a group during the West Virginia Showdown Football Tournament. Arrived to beer and snacks as a welcome gift. Everything about this place is great. Close to restaurants - and the Greenbrier. Hosts are helpful and kind. We'll definitely return.
Great location within walking distance of The Greenbrier.
Really great owner who was incredibly welcoming. This is a nice large older house very close to the Greenbrier. Well equipped kitchen and great WiFi throughout the house. Beds are comfy and the living room and dining room are spacious and well furnished. Our stay was pretty much perfect.
