Beautiful, spacious 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom apartment with separate WC, providing comfortable and modern accommodation for up to 4 people in the heart of Edinburgh's historic Old Town.

The apartment is equipped with modern furnishings and fittings within a building of great character. The apartment is accessed through a secure common entrance into a private lobby. The apartment is on the first floor of the building and the accommodation is situated over 2 floors - the open plan living room and kitchen, with a toilet and wash hand basin situated off, are on the lower floor, and the double bedroom and en suite (shower, wash hand basin and toilet) are located on the upper floor accessed by a narrow staircase. The living area had a double sofa bed and dining table, chairs and sofas to seat 4. The bedroom provides ample drawers and hanging space.

Great little flat in great location.

Lovely flat, close to shops and plenty of restaurants, would definitely stay here again. Loved Edinburgh, loads to see and do ; Holyrood Palace, the Castle, Royal Britannia Yacht, we did the Royal 48hr bus tour which we felt was very good value if you want to do these 3 things in particular. Easily got buses to and from airport and Zoo. Great holiday.

Perfect house Perfect location

Heather house is perfect for a city break in Edinburgh. You will find anything you need,bed is really comfortable, you have an additional wc, the kitchen has plenty of equipment if you want to home cook,etc...

Also the location couldn't be better, 3 min walk to the Royal mile,less than 10min walk to waverly station, tesco and sainsbury round the corner, also plenty of pubs and restaurants nearby to get some food or a drink.

Heather was really kind and nice from the beginning, answering really quick all my question. She welcome us with some snacks and she gave us advise of places to visit and things to do.

Wonderful!!!

So close to everything, especially in the old town. Great Indian restaurant (Red Fort) across the road, excellent folk music bar in the next street (Royal Oak, Infirmary St), and choice of supermarkets around the corner. Comfortable bed, great kitchen facilities, and clean and modern apartment. Plenty of towels and linen. Heather ensures that your stay is pleasant. Definitely my go-to in Edinburgh from now on.

Very clean and tidy. Very well situated for walking in Edinburgh. It was perfect for us.

Heather made everything so very easy. The apartment is well organized and equipped. Heather has booklets and pamphlets and suggestions for enjoying the area. The apartment is so conveniently located that you can walk everywhere: museums, shops, pubs, restaurants, and the Royal Mile. The next time we visit Edinburgh we will be staying here!

The apartment is situated in a newly refurbished 19th Century Schoolhouse on Drummond Street, located in the popular Old Town which has a variety of cafes, bars and restaurants.

This is an ideal position for the Festival Theatre, the National Museum of Scotland, the Pleasance and numerous Festival and 'Fringe' venues.

Waverley train station and the Royal Mile, with Edinburgh Castle at the top and Holyrood Palace at the bottom are also within a 10 minute walk, along with the famous Greyfriars Bobby and the Grassmarket.

Various Art Galleries, Arthur's Seat, Princes Street and the Royal Commonwealth Pool are also within easy walking distance.

For rugby international weekends, buses (nos. 48 and 31) can be taken from North Bridge, just a few minutes walk from the apartment, directly to Murrayfield Stadium.

Transport links are excellent, with the apartment close to several main bus routes which access most areas of the city and beyond. Waverley Train Station which links you to the rest of Scotland is a short walk. Train journey times to Glasgow, host of the 2014 Commonwealth Games are approximately 55 minutes and depart every half hour. The city bypass and motorway networks can be accessed easily by car.
