Large Houses With Big Private Terraces With A Lot Of Vegetation Around

Situated on an extremely quiet part of Las Galletas, this property has a large heated pool and paddle court in the middle of a old banana plantation that has been there for more than 100 years. The star of the property is the 'really heated' swimming pool which is ideal for swimming, as its size is 13 m x 5 m. There is also a jacuzzi and a little space for fitness activities. Wi-fi. Near the pool area there is a large reading room with comfortable sofas. There is also a paddle court and barbeque area. Each house has a solárium on the roof, with sunbeds, also a private front terrace with outdoor furniture and a back terrace with views to the banana plantations. The finca offers 6 one bedroom houses + 6 two bedroom houses + 1 three bedroom house. It is located within walking distance to some local restaurants, supermarket, bakery and Taxi-bus stop.

Why Ana B. Reid chose South Tenerife

I recommend this finca as it is a totally different accommodation concept on the Canary Islands. Being in the middle of the banana plantation offers a quiet atmosphere with all the local taste. The pool is absolutely wonderful and there is such an amount of vegetation around the terraces that there is enough privacy on each house. The situation is also an advantage: away from the massive tourist zones but close enough to enjoy the coastal temperatures and excellent communications everywhere.

What makes this house unique

Having a Real Heated pool is an advantage on Winter, as you might have 21ºC but it is great to enjoy the large pool to swim. The finca is enormous and gives you the advantage of follow the route inside to see how a banana plantation works. Obviously, being only 3 km of the coast gives you the chance to visit the beach on any moment and specially its sea avenues with its fresh fish restaurants where the locals go, away from the crowded tourist places. We can provide all the information you require about this.

A great family holiday, with fun at the heated pool and enough space to play.

Close to beached, beached and supermarkets, but a car is needed.

Great Sheltered Retreat for Winter Sun!

We had a lovely week in the 2-bed house. Clean, very spacious & comfy beds. Quiet location - car definitely needed to get out to attractions etc - but we knew that before booking. Siam Park only 10 mins away, Go-karting only 5 mins away. Only 10 mins drive from airport too.

The banana plants gave plenty of wind shelter, so lounging by the pool was great & pool temperature was perfect. Nubi is a lovely host.

Would definitely stay again.

Belle découverte !

La finca, nichée au milieu d'une bananeraie, est un véritable petit coin de paradis ! Les maisons, spacieuses et joliment décorées, disposent toutes d'un jardin et d'un solarium. Au milieu, piscine chauffée commune, quelques appareils de sport. Les serviettes sont changées tous les 3 jours et toutes les semaines les draps sont changés et le ménage fait. À l'extérieur, il y a une aire de jeux pour les enfants avec toboggan, balançoire, etc. Deux points négatifs cependant. Premièrement, il n'est pas possible de faire de bbq. Dommage car le climat s'y prête bien. Deuxièmement lorsque vous voyagez avec des enfants ou que vous restez un certain temps, il manque une machine à laver (même commune) d'autant qu'il n'y a pas de laverie automatique à côté. Laver les affaires à la main pendant les vacances, ce n'est pas le plus sympa. Pour terminer, noter l'accueil sympathique. Mon espagnol n'étant pas terrible je communiquais mes demandes par mail en anglais à la direction et j'ai toujours eu un retour rapide et précis. En bref, un belle découverte !

Great location - a very relaxing holiday

The pool area in this resort is brilliant. The pool is heated and the pool area is completely enclosed by the banana plantation and apartments, giving very good shelter from the wind. This, and the surrounding palm trees, made it feel more like the Caribbean than the Canaries.

There is also a jacuzzi, small gym, and indoor and outdoor chill-out areas around the pool.

Details of accommodation were very accurate. The roof of each apartment has sunbeds which is good for catching the late evening sun. Clean towels were provided every couple of days.

We got a taxi from the airport -15 mins and 15 euros, then hired a car locally. Guargacho is a bit isolated, so I'd definitely recommend a car-hire to get around.

Information provided by the owner on places of interest was useful. We visited Siam Park water park and had a day trip to La Oratava. If you go to La Oratava, do visit Jardines Victoria and go to Casa Egon for a cake (or two) - chocolate heaven.

There is a Mexican restaurant in Guargacho which we went to twice (walking distance) which was very good. Also, on your way in from the airport it's difficult to miss El Cordero as it has a 5 metre high topiary sheep outside it. This is ridiculously cheap and was full of locals when we went - us being the only British in there.

quiet and peaceful holiday resort

Peaceful and quiet resort just 10 minutes from most major beacehs.

Extremely cool to actually stay in the middle of a banana plantation.

The apartment was very well maintained, clean and comfortable - Everything you needed was there (apart from dishwasher and washingmachine, but we stayed only for a week, so that was not of importance for us)

The outdoor pool was very well heated, and there was also a jaccuzzi.

Evenings were super quiet, even though most of the apartments along side the pool were let out.

10 minutes drive from the South Airport and good descriptions to get there. (i normally get lost, but not this time!)

Our favourite beach in the area was El Medano. But we went to see many others as well.

Also checked out Siam and Loro parque during our stay.

Nights are cold in Februari, so bring warm clothes even for bed time!

Great loved the peaceful tranquil suroundings

could not fault this at all.. the only minor problem we had with our cooker/stove not working was sorted very quickly, Nubi was very helpful, the surroundings are clean and well maintained,the village of Guaracho has all the shops and stores you need for a short stay and buses which are frequent but not always on time, run to Las Galletas and Los Cristianos every hour, for less than 4 euros for two people,transfer from the airport by taxi cost just less than 15 euros,would certainly recommend this to our friends and family and will be back ourselves in the near future.
