This well appointed fully furnished single story home contains about 2,300 square feet of interior space plus an attached over-sized two car garage. It is located in a resort setting directly on the Quail Creek Village Golf Course and in a gated community with 24-hour security. Besides having a convenient location in Naples only a mile from I-75, it is also just 20 minutes from the Fort Myers Airport and within easy reach of Bonita Springs and Marco Island. Several restaurants, banks and big box retailers are within a mile as well. The home is situated on a street with homes on only one side, creating less congestion, more privacy and a more tranquil setting (see photos).

The home features a private pool and hot tub that was recently resurfaced with new Italian and glass tiles. A new pool heater and multi-color underwater pool light was installed that can be automatically controlled with a smart phone or computer. The screened lanai also has a new outdoor dining set on the patio that can seat 6. The Kitchen has an island and eating area that overlooks the pool, golf course and a TV on the counter. A built-in wet bar in the Living Room adjacent to the lanai makes it easy to entertain. This area has a new 60" Sharp Smart HDTV, a DVR, a Blu-ray DVD and a sound bar that can play music from the TV as well as your smart phone or iPad. The TV's have XFINITY ONE which allows for viewing over 100 HD channels, including HBO, and allows the recording and viewing of programs from either TV. It's bundled with a router that provides high speed WiFi and Internet throughout the entire home as well as phone service that offers unlimited phone calls anywhere in the U.S. The Den has a 48" Sony HDTV as well as an All-in-One Laser Printer, which allows you to print from your mobile device or computer, and is accompanied by a 24" computer monitor that's ready to connect to your laptop. The over-sized two-car garage has direct access into the home and also can accommodate a golf cart (with separate garage door) or some added storage.

The large Master Bedroom has high ceilings, a new king bed, new Tommy Bahama style furniture, a large walk-in closet, ceiling fan and a private outdoor atrium. The bathroom for this bedroom is over sized with an 8 foot long vanity and mirror with double sinks along with a separate shower and large tub. There is an electric controlled storm shutter that can cover the sliding glass doors in this room during major storms, which can also be used to darken the master bedroom, for sleeping late or taking a nap.

The Guest Bedroom has a new queen bed, matching chest and dresser, ceiling fan, a walk-in closet and private bath. It has attractive plantation shutters (as do the den and living room), which are also effective in darkening or providing privacy to those rooms, if desired.

The Den is essentially a third bedroom, as it has a sleeper sofa that converts into a twin bed, a private bath and a closet. However, this room also has a built-in desk with bookcase above, a desk chair and a new 48" Sony Smart HDTV with DVR, making for a comfortable study and TV room as well.

All bathrooms have new faucets and the slightly taller new toilets with soft closing lids. The home can comfortably sleep up to 5 people. Seated dining can accommodate 6 in the dining area and 6 in the kitchen, for a total of 12. The living area can seat about 10 people, using a couple extra chairs in the nearby dining area. The patio also has a covered outdoor table that can seat 6.

The home is completely furnished with 400 plus count linens, new bedding, new towels, two sets of dining services for 8, flatware, kitchen utensils and even file folders and office supplies in both the den and in the kitchen desk.

The lawn and landscaping are maintained by the HOA, making the yard hassle free. However, the lanai area and the bedroom atrium provide some areas for added landscaping, if you're so inclined, and some gardening tools are in the garage.

Within the complex and available to all guests are; an 18-hole golf course, a clubhouse, a large pool, a poolside bar and tennis court. Longshore Lake across from the Village has reciprocal privileges and includes a fitness facility and several clay tennis courts (please see the accompanying photos) as well as a restaurant/bar.

If you are interested in playing golf, our guests can play the Quail Creek Village course, which normally has very good availability in the late mornings and early afternoons. If guests desire to play the local course often, seasonal memberships are available. The next closest course is Quail Creek Country Club, adjacent to the Village. It has 36 holes, a dozen tennis courts, a well equipped fitness center and a large remodeled clubhouse. Both informal and more formal dining options are available at this club daily and they feature special buffets on most weekends and holidays. It has been offering special pre-intro full memberships with no initiation fee as well as non-golf memberships. In addition, there are several other golf courses nearby, some also with seasonal or introductory memberships.

About The Owner

Our family is originally from Ohio. I attended schools in Wisconsin and Colorado and in connection with work, lived in Atlanta, Chicago, New York and currently Los Angeles. However, I frequently visited my parents when they retired to Naples in the mid-1980's, and when they acquired this home in the mid 1990's. I've seen a great many changes in Naples over the past 30-years and consider it as a second home.

Why The Owner chose Naples

Formerly my parent's home, this is a special place to me. It's where I spent many Holidays, birthdays and other events with my folks - especially with my Mom, who lived here for 20-years. I've purchased this home shortly before she moved into a nursing home and passed away. I've updated this property in 2016 and added various features that many people prefer. Further, by retaining and adding certain decorations, including original oils and watercolors that reflect Floridian and coastal scenes, it provides the home with a certain unique character and charm. Hopefully, this makes this place not only more comfortable, but in a similar yet different way as with our family, will enable others to also share future memorable experiences here.

What makes this house unique

This home is like new. It has been completely updated with new: roof, exterior painting, interior painting, carpeting, tile flooring, water heater, all faucets, all toilets, floor and ceiling moldings, garage door openers, electronics including XFINITY HD Cable /Internet and Smart HDTV's, LED ceiling lights, fans in all bedrooms and main areas, wall pictures/paintings and other decorations, two beds, bedroom furniture... The HVAC system has also been reconditioned and the motors in the storm shutters have been replaced.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this luxurious condo (lots of amenities and in great shape) for a ski vacation together with another couple and all of our teen-age children. The condo provided the right balance between togetherness and privacy (separate bathrooms for each bedroom), and the location (with the shuttle buses of Park City) was ideal!

The minimum lease term is 3 months during the Winter in Prime Season. But 4 to 6 months, with renting a month or two before or after the Prime Season, are strongly preferred. Some discount is offered for a 6 month rental. An annual rental can also be considered.

The HOA fee is included with the rent, which consists of water, sewer, trash pickup, landscaping and amenities; there is no gas. Electric is included, but capped at $190/month. XFINITY HD, Wi-Fi and Phone Service are also included along with one premium channel, but additional premium or pay to view channels are the tenant's responsibility. Quarterly Pest Control and weekly Pool Service are included as well.

Golf is available on the Village Course between about $34 and $65 per round per person.
Golf is available at Quail Creek Country Club for a couple (or single) at a pre-intro price for 2015 of only $1,100/mo. for a 1 yr. commitment that includes golf at both courses (plus cart fee), tennis, health club and dining privileges. Thereafter, if membership is continued, an initiation fee is required.

  • 50% refund for cancellations more than 7 days before check-in date.
  • 100% refund for cancellations more than 14 days before check-in date.
  • Service Fee fully refunded on cancellations that qualify for 100% refund.
