Smart, modern, and effortlessly stylish, this large third floor apartment is a great base for those looking for something a little different during their time in Valencia. Good transport links mean guests can enjoy easy acces to the beach, the aiport and the modern City of Arts and Sciences without any difficulty. The apartment itself is unique both inside and out, with no expense spared in the furnishings or decor, from the intricate detailing on the building's facade to the Gaudi-inspired staircase inside. Exterior-facing, this apartment offers the best of both worlds by being remarkably bright, yet also very quiet. It faces a fully-pedestrianized street, meaning traffic noise is non-existent, whilst any remaning noise is kept to an absolute minimum thanks to the triple-glassed windows. The focal point of the apartment is its stunning open-plan living, kitchen and dining area. Spanning the entire length of the apartment, with the sitting area and small balconettes at one end and the modern, fully-equipped kitchen at the other, it is a stylish yet practical space and perfect for relaxing after a day's sightseeing. Both bedrooms have been individually decorated and have an en-suite bathroom, although it must be noted that the en-suite bathroom for the second bedroom is much smaller than that of the master bedroom. The entire apartment has been furnished and decorated with the utmost care, from the original artwork on the walls to the designer kitchen. With its great location and superb interior, this elegant property is a must for those looking for something a bit special during their time in Valencia. This apartment is found in the same building as the other Micalet properties on the Spain Select books; Micalet I and Micalet Atico and therefore is a great option for families or groups who want to book separate apartments whilst staying in the same vicinity.

Surface area: 80m2. Third floor: Entrance leads into the open plan living / dining room and kitchen, with 2 French balconies looking out to the street and cathedral. The living area is furnished with one L-shaped 4-seater sofa, a round coffee table, shelving with TV and DVD and a dining table for 4 people. The kitchen is equipped with fridge, freezer, 4-ring ceramic hob, dishwasher, oven and microwave. There is also a wardrobe for laundry facilities (washing machine and dryer). There are 2 double bedrooms: (queen-sized bed 1.60m x 1.90m) with fitted wardrobes. Both bedrooms have an en suite bathroom with walk-in shower room. Please note the floors of the apartment are stone with a shiny finish.
We stayed in Micalet 1 on the first floor of the apartment block. Located in the heart of the old city, next to the cathedral, an ideal place for exploring Valencia. Plenty of excellent bars and restaurants close by.
The apartment was of a high quality as reflected in the photos. It was clean and well maintained. Spain select were excellent to deal with from booking the apartment, meeting us when we arrived and returning our deposit promptly. I would have no hesitation in recommending the apartment.
We had a good stay in Michalet II, a beautyfull apartment, very quiet despite it is located a few meters from Plaza de la Reina. An excellent location in the Valencia historic center also only 500 mt from Turia park.
My family of 4 enjoyed every second in this gorgeous apartment In Valencia over Christmas! The location is perfect, and we loved having the balcony doors open to people watch and hear the cathedral bells. The apartment is stunning and clean and we enjoyed having the beautiful kitchen to prepare our Christmas dinner of fresh fish from the Mercado Central! Having a dishwasher and washer/drier made the stay that much more easy. Would absolutely recommend this apartment and would stay again!!

My husband and I with our two oldest kids stayed at Micalet II for three nights. It is a very modern and elegant apartment just like the pictures show. The apartment is in great condition, clean and well maintained. It is in the best location right across the cathedral. It has beautiful balconies that face the bell tower and the square where you experience all the energy and culture of this vibrant city. The staff at Spain Select was very helpful and easy to work with during the whole process. I highly recommend this apartment.
We just spent a week in this comfortable, modern, well equipped, two bedroom apartment perfectly located in the very centre of the beautiful “old city” district of Valencia. The apartment is only a few steps from the famous Cathedral (home of the “real” Holy Grail), the Plaza of the Virgin, and the Plaza Reina, where there are always taxis waiting to take you to the train station or airport. All of the famous sights, including the fabulous Mercado Central are within a short walking distance. The Spain Select staff were very attentive and gave us good restaurant advice. They could not have been more helpful. We hope to stay there again as soon as possible.
