About JoAnn & Bill White
We have owned our Chalet since 2001. We purchased it with our life-long friends because we all love to ski and love Vermont! Between both couples we have 5 sons who all ski, but times change and the boys have grown, married and have families. Our friends son's have all moved to other states so they have a lot of places to visit. So now we (JoAnn and Bill) have purchased the house outright and our life-long friends will still visit often. Our son's still enjoy the Chalet in all seasons as do our 3 beautiful grandchildren!!! Their favorite place to go is "Vermont" and they will start skiing soon! We rent the Chalet whenever we cannot get there but it is our "home away from home" and our special retreat.

Cold Winter Fun
Charming and secluded mountain home nestled in the woods. We enjoyed a bitterly cold midnight walk with a full moon shining on the icy trees. Accomodations fit the 8 of us very comfortably. Stone fireplace = very impressive.
We're so glad your enjoyed our cozy Chalet!
Bromley Mountain is a 2 minute drive, it is exactly 1/2 mile door to door. Stratton is 10 minutes away. Manchester village, which has scores of retail outlets, and quaint shops, is 7 miles away. There are numerous bars and restaurants nearby. Our favorite spot for a relaxing drink and a great meal is Johnny Seesaws, located 1 mile from our Chalet. There are many hiking trails, snowmobiling, fishing ponds, you can even go for a real hay ride. The famous Vermont Country Store and Weston Playhouse are nearby. Antique shops are plentiful, and tag sales are always happening.
