Jeanette Haagensen purchased this house in 2014
We bought this property to holiday let in the summer months as we go abroad from April to October. It is in a perfect location to explore the southern Lakes and Cumbrian coast.
Brand new house with brand new fixtures and fittings. All new appliances. Short walk into Ulverston so having a drink or meal at one of the many local bars and restaurants is stress free. Ideal for two couples to share accommodation. Parking for three average size cars.
Had a really nice stay at Crow's Nest. The house is extremely clean and tidy and very well equipped. A prefect location to explore the area. Would happily stay there again.Recommend The Mill and L'al Churrasco for a meal, and Gillam's for amazing hot chocolate. Thank you for a lovely stay!
Had a great week in this lovely modern property.all the amenities you could need.great location for getting all around the lake district.
Really clean and modern. Walking distance to everything you need and situated in the hub of the Lake District. Perfect stay for a family
Well equipped and well situated property about 5 minutes walk from the centre of Ulverston. The facilities are great and the house has everything we needed as a family with small children to make our lives very comfortable for the time we were there. Would highly recommend.
Jeanette and Dave's home is a wonderful place to stay for Ulverston and the surrounding area. The owners are especially hospitable. They went out of their way to provide baby items (playpen/ baby bed mattress and high chair) to accommodate our family and were very proactive with our few requests. Of special note are the kitchen which is very well appointed, especially in quality cookware, and the wonderful view of hoad monument from the backyard and summer house. I would certainly recommend the Crow's Nest to other families.
We had a wonderful time at the Crows Nest. Its a beautiful, stylish and well eqipt home, comfortable and spacious.
Can't fault it. Area is nice with a lovely town within walking distance.
Wouldn't hesitate to stay there again.
We had three nights in this lovely, comfortable, well equipped townhouse. The weather was fabulous which was unexpected, so we spent quite a bit of time in the garden. Although there is a summerhouse, it was too hot to use it !
