A fabulous getaway in any season, this is one of the very special houses of Woodstock. Built in the 1880s, it was the original main farmhouse for the immediate area. It has been restored and updated, but retains its sense of graciousness and charm with original wide-board floors, high ceilings, large windows and lots of light. It is a comfortable, easy house, furnished with a mix of antiques and contemporary furniture. The large country kitchen is a delight to cook in and opens directly to the backyard patio and BBQ. In the winter, the house stays warm and cozy and is near area skiing and hiking. For summers, it is across from hiking, canoeing, fishing, biking paths, and lakeside BBQing. The house has 3 bedrooms, 2 baths, a living room/dining room, family room, and office. Low monthly rate. Fall/Winter season available. Contact to discuss rental details.
