I am a registered nurse and have a private practice in Healing Touch and Craniosacral Therapy. I was a Rehab Nurse for 10 years in the coal mines in 3 states. My first career was a social case worker. I also own a consignment business. I enjoy sharing this delightful cottage with my guests.
Sara purchased this House in 2007
Why Sara chose Blowing Rock
Blowing Rock and the High Country region is very beautiful. These are the oldest mountains in the world. There are lots of outdoor activities and friendly people. The cottage is centrally located near Boone and Blowing Rock.
What makes this House unique
It is great to hear the little creek that wraps around the cottage. Children enjoy playing in the creek. I am pet friendly. You can see lots of birds, chipmunk, deer and raccoon from the cottage. It is cozy and relaxing and I try to be flexible with my guests and their needs.

Great place for a Getaway
Really enjoyed our stay. Great location. Perfect for our dog Hank.
A cozy, rustic cabin perfect for families with pets - great location, close to Moses Cone trails and Blowing Rock. We enjoyed identifying the many birds that visited the feeders.
Weekend Get away
Had a great time, close enough to downtown Blowing Rock and Boone, but secluded enough to have time to yourself.
We loved our time at the cottage. It was the perfect spot for our weekend trip to the mountains! Loved that we could have our dog with us and the cottage was cozy to come home to after our outdoor adventures!!
Peaceful little cabin
The cabin was great for what we needed it for which was a place to rest in between hiking in the blue ridge. The cabin stayed cool in the evening and night. Owner has a few fans that are supplied to help cool you down after you adventure. Blue Ridge Parkway and Blowing Rock access are a quick drive. Would recommend to other adventurers and would stay again in the future.
Thank you.I hope you can return sometime.
A stand a long, single property with plenty of shade, and a deck to sit out under the shade. You feel like you are in the back country, but only about three miles from shopping centers.
Located next to a zip line, hiking and the Blue Ridge Parkway
