3 bedroom, 2 bathroom duplex in a modern chalet with breathtaking views.

Located in St Martin Village adjacent to the 3 valley lift system.

Renovated in 2014, three bedroom duplex, furnished in modern chalet chic style including an indoor parking spot and ski locker. This family friendly accommodation consists of:

Bedroom 1: Master with double bed, 4 meter ceilings and ensuite bathroom with shower (Bathroom 1).

Bedroom 2: Bedroom featuring double bed

Bedroom 3: Bedroom in the mezzanine with either 2 single beds or 1 large double bed

Bathroom 2: large bathroom with bathtub and shower

There is a lovely open plan kitchen/living room/dining room featuring 4 meter ceilings and spectacular views of the mountains. The kitchen is fully equipped and basics are stocked (i.e. tea, sugar, salt, pepper, etc.) making for the opportunity to have cozy dinners at home. The small fireplace adds to the ambience. Luxurious 400 thread count linens and hotel quality towels are provided. There is a television and dvd player with an extensive dvd collection and Wi-fi is included.

There are 2 folding memory foam guest beds (80 x 200 cm) which can accommodate two additional guests.

Please note that our changeover day is on Sunday. We have chosen to do this as all large hotels in the resort use Saturday as their changeover day, which results in long queues of traffic coming in and leaving the resorts on Saturdays. The other advantage of a Sunday arrival is that skiing on a Saturday is a pleasure as the pistes are virtually empty!

Why Tara chose St Martin de Belleville

We chose St. Martin as it is one of the only traditional 'chocolate box' villages in the Three Valleys, offering a charming village atmosphere away from the hectic concrete jungles of other locations in the resort. St. Martin has residents that live in it all year round (for many generations!) and offers all the amenities that one can wish for: several restaurants and bars, sport shops, a bakery, a small grocery store, a pharmacy, etc..

What makes this apartment unique

Our chalet is a family home, so it is fully equipped and lovingly furnished.

nice holidays

Confortable flat with all the equipments you need. Great balcony with large view on the moutains. The flat is well located, about 300m from the lifts but close to the road to val thorens.

No separate toilet.

We spent a nice week even if the tv wasn't working because what it seems to be a problem with the channels. And personnaly I think a owner has to be really reactive (less than 24h) and this is the point of improvement here.

We had a great stay in the chalet. With 4 adults and 4 kids. The communication with the owners was very good. The chalet was clean, it has a beautiful view, is light and feels spacious. There is a garage for the car, very luxury when it's snowing for example. The walk down the road to the tow-lift is about 5 minutes. No problem.

The couch/sofa was a little bit too soft to sit in. And the beds could also a little bit better (also soft), but that's maybe personal taste.

Homely & spacious family-run duplex chalet.

This was our second visit to this homely duplex chalet. The accommodation is cosy & full of character. The open plan living area and high beam timber ceilings make the rooms feel very spacious. Set in the beautiful, unspoilt village of St Martin de Belleville....with the off-street, secure parking below the accommodation, you can either choose to walk or drive the 300m to the ski lifts ...there are many shops on hand for self catering or superb restaurants. The exceptional Michelin star Bouitte (5 mins drive) or the Montagnard (250m walk) are our among our favourites. The chalet is clean, well-maintained weekly and the owners are extremely attentive & helpful, should you have any queries.

Although some of the furnishings are becoming a little tired, we understand that the chalet will undergo renovation at the end of this season, so it promises to be one of the best valued duplex chalets in the Three Valleys!

Lovely cosy chalet in beautiful St Martin

Had a lovely stay here over New Years, the chalet had everything we needed and was very homely and clean. Plenty of room for 2 couples, there was still the double bunk bed room left empty. the two separate bathrooms with showers were very handy too.

The village is beautiful, small but still with good choices of restaurants and bars.

Skiing was a 300m walk away if you're fine on blue runs and button lifts, we used the free shuttle to les meniures first 4 days as we had a couple of beginners and there's good nursery slopes there and wider runs. If you're a decent skier, you can go across the whole 3 valleys, with tons of runs...

Would recommend this place to families, or couples and will look it up again next year if we ski again.

Fabulous chalet in a charming resort

St Martin de Belleville is a charming, traditional French village. As well as the local 8 a 8 (small supermarket), you can buy meat at the Boucherie, croissants at the Boulangerie & most importantly, hear French being spoken around you by people who actually live there. It doesn't have a rocking night-life, but does offer good restaurants and a number of good bars if you manage to sneak an evening away from the kids. A special mention must go to the fondue restaurant - Le Montagnard- which has a cosy atmosphere and great food - booking is essential.

Les Balcons is equally welcoming. It is a pretty chalet-style apartment, well equipped and feels like a home from home. It's a very relaxing place: the children were able to watch DVDs from the selection there, the adults enjoyed the fabulous views from the balcony with a post skiing kir in hand. Adults can easily walk to the bottom of the lifts in the village - those with small children might want to drive 3 minutes to the (free) car park to avoid meltdown after a day's skiing. The ski school is very good, and they take great care with young children, all the instructors speak English well.

We have been twice, once as a couple, and once in a group with children, and it worked equally well for both scenarios. We've just booked up again, and can't wait to go back.

Change over day is Sunday, weekly rentals in season are from Sunday to Sunday, with the exception of Christmas and New Year 2016 which will be a Saturday change over. Weekend rentals will be considered two weeks in advance of intended stay. For longer term rentals (+7days) an interim clean and change of linens can be requested at 150 euro.

A 25% deposit is required to make a reservation with balance to be paid by bank transfer 30 days before stay. If a reservation is cancelled less than 30 days before start of stay, the cost of the rental is forfeited unless the accommodation is re-sold for cancelled period. If the accomodation is re-sold for the cancelled period the deposit will be refunded less a 50 euro administration fee.
