About Charlotte and Chris Cornell
We live opposite The Captain's View and couldn't believe our luck when this beautiful apartment came on the market. Our friends and relatives love it too!
Charlotte and Chris Cornell purchased this Apartment in 2013
Why Charlotte and Chris Cornell chose Whitstable
You couldn't get more central than this apartment in Whitstable. It is right in the centre of the conservation area and has literally a butcher, a baker and a candlestick maker on the doorstep!

A little gem hidden away
This lovely property is like Doctor Who's tardis! Very spacious and thoroughly updated with all mod cons. Bedrooms and bathrooms are plentiful and extremely comfortable. I only dropped one star on the accuracy of listing as Home Away says there is parking, which there isn't. However, we managed to park pretty close to Harbour Street, so after a few trips unloading, we were sorted. Thank you Chris and Charlotte for letting us stay in your faboulous place. I hope to stay again when this current situation with Coronavirus is a thing of the past and wonderful Whitstable is fully open again. Jane
Just as described
This property is of a very high standard, everything is in excellent condition and the location was just perfect for what we required, we would not hesitate to recommend this property to family or friends.
Great place to stay in the centre of Whitstable
A lovely apartment in the centre of this beautiful seaside town. All modern amenities, clean, spacious and welcoming
We greatly enjoyed this home. We hope to visit again in the summer when we can take advantage of the beach also.
Fantastic apartment in the heart of town
Lovely modern apartment overlooking one of the main streets in town. Very well-equipped, modern, and spotlessly clean.
Completely hassle-free booking/check-in arrangements.
Great value, either for family of 5 or as a couple (we've done both!).
This is our second visit in 18 months and we definitely plan to return.
Whitstable itself is lovely. Very unspoilt. Coastal walks, quaint/quirky shops, excellent restaurants and pubs.
Amazing central location
Beautiful apartment, very clean. Great attention to detail and thoughtfully stocked.
Fantastic linen and towels. We’ve had a perfect weekend away and definitely want to return.
Didn’t manage the beach hut but would love to next time.
Whitstable is a beautiful seaside town on the East Coast of Kent. The High Street is bustling with independent shops, Michelin-nominated restaurants, excellent pubs and more. You can buy fresh fish from the Harbour, watch world-class Sailing Regattas or walk/cycle the excellent coastal path from Whitstable to Margate. In the nearby countryside, apple orchards and oast houses abound. Within 10 miles you can find the world-renowned Canterbury Cathedral, the evocative ruins at Reculver and the beautiful film-location village of Chilham.
