Villa overlooking the Mediterranean, lawned garden and private pool
- English, French, Spanish, Italian
Since we came to Menorca we have been in love with this mysterious, peaceful, secret island. Menorca is beautiful, well preserved, safe, clean and quiet. An incredibly relaxing place with the best beaches in the Balearic islands. Criminality is negligible, there is a cult for cleanliness and nature is very well looked after. Being an agricultural island, food can be fantastic. Arriving from the plane you will enjoy the 'ancient drawing' made by dry stone walls that surround wild land, where everything seems to grow. Lemon trees, luscious bouganvilleas, yucca trees, agaves and all the aromatics, like lavender, rosemary, mint, the wonderful capers plant and wild fleur-de-lis that adorn the unspoiled beaches. We are very happy to share with you this wonderful island.

Lovely villa in great location
This is a great villa with light, airy and comfortable bedrooms and living spaces. It is very well equipped, and in a fantastic location just 10 mins walk from the s a and a nice bar/restaurant. The garden is beautiful and the pool is great. The owner is very helpful. I would not hesitate to stay here again, but rather than giving a full 5 stars am giving 4 as I think that the description of sea view is a little misleading. A small bit of sea can be seen through trees in the distance, and if you stand on the roof. This did not spoil our stay, but was not quite what we had anticipated.
thank you for your comment about our house. Thank you also for mentioning sea views.
As you can see on the website page, our sea views are exactly the same as they appear in the pictures that have been taken from the outside patio, not from the terrace.
Please do consider that the villa is surrounded for three quarters by municipality green area that guarantees an extreme privacy to the premises but often is not trimmed as it should. Cordial regards.
Very high quality villa, excellent facilities
The villa was suberb, high quality, well equipped. Great outdoor pool and gardens, all well maintained. Ideally positioned for access to the beach. Owner Michaela extremely friendly and helpful, arranged a supper/wine for our arrival which was much needed! Overall excellent, would not hesitate to recommend this villa.
Thank you for your comment Nick, it is wonderful having guests like you and your family. We always try to put a great attention to details, a kitchen equipped for trained chefs, a garden well kept, with some vegetables and fresh herbs for our Summer dishes. You will be the most welcome anytime.
Could not find fault with this beautiful villa
We were impressed even before we arrived at Villa Biniprispina. Michaela was so helpful and answered any questions we had clearly and promptly. She even went to the trouble of finding a sports bar where we could watch the All Blacks vs Lions rugby test! The directions from the airport were concise and easy to follow and the property is only about 15 minutes from the airport.
We were not disappointed on arrival at the villa. Having rented a number of villas over the years, it was lovely to find one which felt like a home and not just a rental property - books on the shelves, artwork on the walls and the best stocked kitchen we have encountered.
Villa Biniprispina is on a quiet street but still very convenient for supermarkets and restaurants - and the swimming hole 5 minutes walk down the road was a bonus. Having 3 bedrooms, all with en suites is ideal and the lively tranquil garden and pool made for a relaxing holiday. And the house and gardens are immaculate and well maintained.
Menorca was a pleasant surprise - still unspoiled and unencumbered by hordes of tourists, even in July. As I read somewhere 'Menorca is Ibiza without the attitude and Majorca without the crowds'. That really sums it up.
We thoroughly enjoyed our time there in Michaela's delightful home and would highly recommend it to anyone wishing for a 'home away from home' on a beautiful island.

Thank you very much for your comments. Making our guests feeling home is the best part of our reward. This year we started growing a small organic vegetable garden, with tomatoes and Mediterranean herbs, to provide some fresh produce and herbs . Next season we are going to increase its size and add a few other vegetables. We are also glad you enjoyed swimming at Es Raco Fondu: the rocky platform over an unspoilt sea is a very special place, out from touristic paths. Being able to walk there is a real plus.
Hidden gem in Menorca's biosphere reserve
A beautiful villa in southeastern Menorca with classic Mediterranean feel. Conveniently located for visiting the island, restaurants and beaches, vineyards, historic and prehistoric sites nearby.
One can enjoy swimming every day in the garden or at the beach.
Hoopoes, blackcaps and other birds can be seen in the garden.
The owner provides everything and makes guests feel welcome.
Very well equipped for cooking and eating al fresco. What's not to like?
Dear Virginia, it is always nice to have our guests noticing the Mediterranean feel that surrounds the house and that we like to preserve in our garden. Every hour you have a change of scenery, with different birds coming to sing, and it is good to have an area of the outside space that stays in the shade, at different times of the day. Thank you for underlining our convenient location, where privacy is guaranteed, even if with few minutes driving you can reach so many interesting sites.
A very enjoyable week for all.
A delightful villa, very spacious and comfortable with private garden having both a sun terrace and a shady terrace overlooking the pool. The location is quiet, with small quiet beaches easy to reach. The owner provided much detailed information to allow us to maximise our stay and was attentive to little details; very comfortable and clean, with lots of extra facilities, from popcorn maker to underwater pool lighting. This is a welcome into another families' holiday home rather than a holiday rental property. We were three generations and we all enjoyed it.
It is a great pleasure to read your comment: we try to have our guests feel they are welcome friends rather than holiday renters.
It is delightful to see that three generations enjoyed staying there.
Villa Biniprispina was the perfect base for our first trip to Menorca.
Villa Biniprispina was everything that we had hoped for. It offers that hard to come by combination of a beautiful secluded location yet you can easily walk to a choice of restaurants in the evening or to the waters edge to swim and snorkel.
However, a car is definitely recommended if you want to explore the island and it's many beaches. Our favourites were Sa Mesquida and Binisafuller although Binibeca is also not to be missed, a lovely bay of turquoise water with good amenities.
The commute from Mahon airport was straight forward, thanks to Michaela's excellent directions and did only take 15 mins! It is hard to believe that Menorca is so accessible in terms of flight availability but is still so quiet and unspoiled.
The villa was the perfect base to return to after our daily excursions and was well appointed, clean, comfortable and finished with artistic flair. As described, you will find everything you need, indoors and out to enjoy a truly special break. Having teenagers, The ratio of bathrooms to bedrooms and good wifi were a big plus.
The owner, Michaela was a delight to deal with throughout. She answered all correspondence swiftly and went the extra mile in providing tips and links about the area. We certainly hope to return to their charming holiday home and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to others.
It is always a pleasure to receive such a thoroughly description about our home and most loved island. Thank you very much for the appreciation you showed.
A short distance from the house, 5 minutes walk, there is a beautiful rocky bay of Es Raco Fondu, for a swim in the incredible scenery. With a couple of minutes drive you reach the small beach of Binisafua Playa, perfect for younger children, or in 5 minutes you arrive at Binibeca Playa, equipped with sun beds, umbrellas, bar and restaurant, and pedal boats. Menorca has hundreds of beautiful beaches to be discovered. Always walk you can reach the village of Binibeca, the diving center and the restaurant Club Nautico. The island is famous for its safety, environmental ethics and is organized neatly. Characteristics that make it ideal for families.
