The Royal Mile Apartment - our two bedroom, well equipped holiday home is perfectly located to allow you to experience all that Edinburgh has to offer.

A unique property comprising of a large hall, a modern living/dining/kitchen room, a spacious bright bathroom with bath, shower and toiletries and then a few steps up to the two tranquil double bedrooms. Relax in the comfort of the living room where you will find a widescreen digital TV, high-speed wifi internet and a modern, fully equipped kitchen with cooking essentials.

The living room has a widescreen digital TV, a stereo with i-pod dock and high-speed wifi internet.

The dining kitchen is fully fitted with all modern appliances including microwave, dishwasher, washing machine and toaster. There are a full range of kitchen utensils, dishtowels, dishcloths, kitchen roll, washing up liquid, dishwasher consumables as well as a selection of herbs, oils, flour, basic condiments, tea, coffee, sugar, foil and cling film.

Both bedrooms are extremely spacious and bright, each with a super king-size bed which can be split to make two single beds depending upon your requirements. Beautiful, hotel-quality Egyptian cotton bed linen and towels add a further touch of luxury.

There is plenty of cupboard space off the hall where you will also find iron and ironing board.

Entry to the building is from the Royal Mile where there is a security gate which will let you into the communal stairwell.

Please be aware that the apartment is on the third floor of the building and does not have a lift.

Edinburgh Castle. Holyrood Palace. Princess Street Gardens. The world-famous Fringe Festival and Hogmanay celebrations. The Six Nation Rugby at Murrayfield, countless bars and restaurants and great shopping for every taste and budget.

very good apartment/flat

We traveled to Edinburgh with my wife and two kids ages 14 and 11- stayed 3 nights in this flat - right on the royal mile - apartment was clean the beds were very comfortable - great location - and no street noise at all- great access to the old part of the city- 15 minute walk to castle and maybe 10 to holyrood palace- there are tons restaurants/pubs/cafes near - right next door and up to 5 minutes away- this was perfect for us- also Edinburgh Waverly train station was about a 8 minute walk -only negative was that the wifi was very sporadic - kept going in and out- very minor issue - we really enjoyed our stay

Home from home contemporary central apartment

A warm welcome from Marion and a beautiful well appointed apartment. Spacious bedrooms, a lovely shower room, all you need in the kitchen. Very convenient location on Canongate / Royal mile. There are two flights of stairs so may not be suitable for anyone with walking difficulties. Only negative was a Bank Holiday Saturday night it was fairly noisy front and back until around 1am (bedrooms are on the back over looking a green area). Friday and Sunday evening were much quieter. Comfortable beds and plenty of fluffy towels!

Cute apartment. Fantastic location.

This is a lovely apartment in the middle of all the action so you step out right onto the Royal Mile. Marion was fantastic and very accommodating especially as we were getting there earlier than expected. It is also a little South of the Castle so still fells a little away from the loud tourist crowds

Absolutely brilliant.

From start to finish this apartment was brilliant. To start with a very welcoming owner. The apartment itself was excellent 2 massive bedrooms with really comfy beds. A decent sized living room/kitchen and a very trendy shower room. The location was brilliant a few seconds away from a pub and a few minutes from the sites. I would highly recommend this apartment to anyone. It is be great for couples and families.

Royal Mile apartment Edinburgh

Perfectly positioned for a city break, within walking distance of the castle and many tourist attractions, cafes,pubs ,restaurants and the railway station. The apartment was clean and well equipped for 4. It's worth knowing that it is on the third floor with no lift. This did not present a problem for us and we would not hesitate to return. Although it is positioned on the busy Royal Mile, the bedrooms are at the back of the apartment overlooking a private green and we did not experience noise at night.

Fab apartment, great host - had a lovely stay

Flat in a brilliant location towards the bottom of the Royal Mile - out of the fracas, but very close to it! Walking distance to Edinburgh's main sights.

Flat itself compact but well laid out - kitchen and living area particularly on the small side but functional.

Bathroom great - brilliant shower! Plenty of hot water.

Bedrooms a very good size, with comfortable beds.

All beautifully clean - absolutely spotless.

Host great - texted shortly before we arrived and she was there to meet us.

Would happily book again next time I'm back in Edinburgh.
