Recently renovated, spacious semi-detached ski chalet spread over 3 floors. Sleeps up to 10. The recently re-furbished chalet has 4 bedrooms, 1 WC and shower room, 1 Bathroom with bath and shower. Large open plan downstairs including kitchen with lounge and dining. Utility room with WC. Bedroom set up - 2 x double rooms, 1 x double sofa bed in TV/snug, 1 room with x 2 single beds and a bunk bed. There is a TV with DVD, music centre, washing machine and tumble dryer, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, cooker, kettle and microwave. Allocated parking space. Garden terrace and balcony.
We are a family of 5, ranging from 46 to 6 years old. We all love the mountains and love to ski!

It is situated in the heart of the beautiful village of Hinterthal. The accommodation is set over 3 floors so even when we are staying with friends everyone has their own space. Everything is walkable from the chalet, whether it be the slopes, the bars or the restaurants however it remains incredibly peaceful even in the height of the season.
After a hard days skiing you can sit on the balcony with views across the mountain range and over the slopes, catch the afternoon sun and have a well deserved drink!
We stayed in the house now twice and it is a true home away from home. Spacious, great decoration, fireplace, tv room, baking tools everything you need for a great evening after skiing. The wooden terrace is lovely and sitting out on a sunny winter day is re-energizing.

The house is very nice and comfortable in a wonderful little and calm village.
We were two families (9 people) and enjoyed our stay there.
But we missed a coffee-machine and big pots for cooking.
Fortunately one person came one day later and brought two big pots and
coffeefilters and a pot of coffee.
It was specially good the fact, that the house was very close to the ski lift.
The Blakes' chalet was fantastic. We (8 of us) all thought it hugely exceeded our expectations.
The chalet was comfy, warm and had a lovely alpine feel to it. While in the centre of Hinterthal and a minute from a little après-bar, it was in a very peaceful location. The chalet itself was very spacious and well designed, and had lots of touches that made it vastly nicer than the usual ski accommodation - slippers, quality bedding, a decent DVD collection etc. They might be small, but added up to a great week. When there was snow, it was possible to ski down the road to the Hochmais lift car park.
We would definitely recommend the chalet!
We spent a wonderful time in the house in Hinterthal. The recent renovation turned the house into a warm and cosy place. The house is spacious and allowed for the kids to have their own little place to read, watch a movie or play after skiing. The fire place is nice. Hinterthal is great not only for skiing with endless opportunities but also for walking in the snow and sled rides on special sled roads, a real treat. We will sure be back!
We had a very happy week in this wonderfully-located chalet with fantastic snow for skiing. The house was clean and pleasantly furnished. The contact there in Hinterthal, Frau Anik, was charming, quick off the mark and very efficient. A beginner ski lift, the church and the famous Almbar are all within close walking distance. The main lift is within short driving distance. There is plenty of room to park outside the house, to relax on the spacious sofa after skiing and to eat at the big dining table with exceedingly comfortable chairs. I would definitely rent this again!
The chalet is situated in the heart of the picturesque village of Hinterthal, at the foot of the High King Mountain (Hochkönig). It has over 150km of inter-connecting skiing along with it's own nursery slopes and ski school (all walking distance from the chalet). The region also boasts 3 snow parks and approximately 33 mountain restaurants.
