Le Regge is a large estate located in southern Tuscany within the province of Siena. The estate produces red wine and organic olive oil, wheat and sunflower. About a third of the estate is composed by oak woods where naturally grow white truffles and wild mushrooms. Two estate's old farmhouses dating back 1700 called Gaeta and Zampugna have been restored into a villa and an agriturismo.
The villa is set in an oasis of tranquillity between the renowned towns of Montepulciano and Pienza that can be reached in only few minutes by drive.
This traditional Tuscan stone-clad villa has recently been completely renovated to a very high standard keeping its cotto floors, heavy wooden beams and a large open fireplace while the addition of a full-equipped kitchen, pretty bath and shower rooms, air-conditioning and panoramic swimming pool has brought the villa up-to-date.
Villa Gaeta has four double bedrooms within the main building and an additional double bedroom in the annex by the patio. It can accommodate up to 10 persons, perfectly suitable for families and small parties.
This villa is a brilliant example of Tuscan rural 18th century style, well proportioned, carefully renovated with no alteration of the original architecture. The stones have a warm ochre colour typical of the Valdorcia area. The gardens around the villa have extensive plantings that will mature nicely from spring to autumn.
The villa has ample parking and is surrounded by olive groves.
