Located on the dry sunny side of the Big Island this 2br / 2ba ( sleeps 6 )1300 sq. ft. townhouse # 1701 is fully air conditioned and is located within just a 10 minute walk to the beach, golf, tennis, shops and high end restaurants. Also renters have PRIVATE ACCESS to a beach located within the Mauna Lani Resort. Our townhouse is upgraded with high end furnishings and stocked with all the necessities to make your vacation a memorable one. Just furnished with new rug, furniture in the living room plus brand new towels, wash cloths, sheets and pillow cases in the guest room. Private wrap around lower lanai with a Viking BBQ. Upper lanai off of your master bedroom for enjoying a nice cup of Kona coffee or an evening glass of wine as you watch the beautiful sunset. The master bedroom also comes with a Tempur Pedic 2 stage adjustable bed set up so each person can adjust their own setting preference.The kitchen comes with all the necessary tools for your cooking pleasure / a gourmet chef's delight as well as a new Samsung frig and GE Profile appliances. There is a FULL SIZE washer and dryer in the laundry area. Especially if you have kids staying. As a bonus there is an attached garage to either keep your vehicle in or just use it for storing your fishing,scuba / snorkeling gear or whatever you wish to keep out of the main living area. In the garage are boogie boards and a full beach cooler. The master bedroom with TV is located on the second level with its own private full bath. The guest room is located on the first level for privacy and also includes a private full bath. The 2 twin beds can be moved together if desired. The living room has a brand new queen size sleeper sofa for additional guests. FREE INTERNET. The Fairways at Mauna Lani is gated and is a low density resort property including a large pool and health club.

Walk to high end restaurants such as Ruth Chris, Tommy Bahama and the upscale Browns located in the Fairmont Orchid Hotel and all within walking distance. There is also a nice high end Food Land grocery store within walking distance carrying a well stocked assortment of fresh meats, seafood, sushi, vegetables / fresh fruits, liquor / wine and spices galore.

Just minutes drive to many beaches including Hapuna Beach State Park and historic Mahukona Landing where you can see the original railroad station used during the " sugar cane days".

Our townhouse is centrally located so even though it is " The Big Island " driving anywhere is quite manageable.

We are confident that your stay no matter how long will be maximized by your enjoyment of our lovely town home. About Kenneth Konet

My wife and I have been coming to Hawaii for over 30 years and have also lived here on The Big Island for 3. I have been in business for 50 years and recently retired and my wife is an owner of her architectural company Konet Architecture where she practices in both California and Hawaii. Our 2 kids are German Shepherds and we wish we could bring them to Hawaii every time we visit.

Highly recommend, well appointed condo & easy walk to beach & shops

We spent 6 wonderful nights in this condo. Tasteful tropical decor, well stocked kitchen & all the items you may need for the beach incl. chairs, coolers & towels. Ken reached out to us immediately upon booking & offered great island tips & eating recommendations. He also checked on us the day we arrived to make sure everything was ok. This is our 23rd trip to Mauna Lani and the best rental experience we’ve had.

Great condo, well equipped, near shops. Beach club

Great condo, suitable for a small family, in an upscale , secure, very nice, gated community. Near shops and close to major hotels. Very nice onsite pools and gardens, and also offers access to a private ocean front beach club that is a short drive away. The condo is well maintained, comfortable, and very well equipped with every kitchen tool. We really enjoyed the stay and felt very comfortable. Highly recommended. A Great base from which to explore paradise.

Excellent place to get away from it all and relax!

If you're looking for a place to get away from it all, relax, & explore the north half of the Big Island, this Fairways townhouse makes a really nice home base! We found it easy to drive down to Kailua-Kona, Captain Cook, up to beautiful Waimea, over the mountain up north, to Hawi, and several beautiful beaches. (To see the Volcano and Hilo area, spend a few nights down there.)

This townhouse...it is perfectly situated in a very safe, clean & quiet area, with a short and lovely stroll to its pool and hot tub. It includes a card for preferred parking & use of the chairs and cabanas at the Mauna Lani Beach Club (one of our favorite places to spend time.)

There are beautiful walking paths in every direction of the Fairways, and a grocery store nearby. The layout of the townhouse is super, with a bedroom upstairs and one down, each having its own bathroom. There are tons of water/sand toys, beach chairs, mats, floaties, and some coolers. The lanai upstairs off the master bedroom was very relaxing in the evenings (and nice to watch the sunset), and the lanai downstairs off the dining area was perfect too. It has a quality grill, counter top & sink right outside the large sliding glass door, and there's also cushioned seating around a big table and 2 very comfortable loungers. Tropical hedging along one side of this lanai gives you privacy while the shorter open side allows you to enjoy the view of the perfectly groomed landscaping. We used the attached garage as well as the handy outside parking spaces right outside our front door. The large washer & dryer was wonderful to have as well! The owners were excellent to deal with too! They were very quick to respond to all our emails & questions and gave excellent instructions on how to get there, work the keys, access the beach parking lot, etc. We really enjoyed our stay! A very comfortable stay in Mauna Lani

I travel to Hawaii frequently for work (yes, I know, I'm not expecting any sympathy) and over time have stayed at some 10s of different VRBO units in the Waikoloa area. This unit was perhaps the very best I've ever experienced.

For those who enjoy cooking for themselves, it is very nicely equipped. The gas grill worked perfectly (many of those Viking grills in the Waikoloa area do not) and I notice it has a rotisserie as well. The kitchen is completely equipped, the knives are sharp, the layout of kitchen/dining/lanai was perfect, much better than in those units where you have to cross the length of the apartment to go from kitchen to grill. I'd never been to the grocer in the Mauna Lani end of the resort before this trip, and found it much much better than the one in Queen's Marketplace. And of course, it's only a 10 min drive to the larger grocer up the hill at Waikoloa Village, for more extensive groceries.

The resort pool area seemed spacious and quiet for reading the few times I was there, and although there is an exercise room as well it seems just a bit congested with more machines than the space can handle, none the less it was functional for my needs.

The unit is airy and cool; for my stay it was never necessary to turn on AC, the ocean breezes were much more pleasant than AC could provide. Internet access worked flawlessly. Furnishings were all in good order. The master bedroom bed has power tilt, a novelty for me!, and very comfortable bedding, too.

All in all I found it to be very comfortable for my needs, and I would certainly return there in future stays.

Come to the quiet, relax and breathe

My wife and I have been to the Big Island many times and have never been disappointed. The Fairways at Mauna Lani continued that tradition. Our condo was situated in a quiet corner and a short walk to the pool. It was superbly furnished and equipped, not to mention immaculate. The Beach Club is a short drive away with excellent swimming and snorkeling. The owner was extremely hospitable and gracious checking in often and sending us links to activities nearby. Want to get away? This is the place.

The Fairways at Mauna Lani are located on the dry sunny side of the island of Hawaii where the sunshine is plentiful. Also the area compared to Kona and other resorts has the most accessible beaches, shops, fine dinning , golf, tennis and many other sports as well as helicopter tours. Also not as crowded as Kona. Come and enjoy the best of the Big Island of Hawaii.
