This is a top floor (5th floor) apartment with lift.
On entry, you have a large open-planned living area - which includes a 3 person sofa and a double sofabed - there is a large flat screen TV with English Satelite channels (BBC, ITV SKY movies and Sy Sports package) and wifi/internet access.
A dining table and 4 chairs and various storage cupboards. The stunning aspect of this apartment is the large patio/terrace (double glazed) windows that open up onto the 12 meter sq terrace. The terrace has 2 quality reclining sunbathing chairs 4 chairs and and dining tables for dining in shade and sun also an electric BBQ. There is a covered area for shade during the height of sun - the view is of local area and hills overlooking Nice. There is additional outdoor lighting with various options dependent on your mood!
The modern bathroom has a ""Philippe Starck"" Jacuzzi bath and a independent large walk-in shower - there is also a large hand basin and WC - there is a separate WC off the hallway.
The kitchen is fully equipped with oven, 4 plate hob, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine, kettle, toaster and Nespresso coffee maker and full utensils.
The bedroom has a good quality kingsize double bed, bedside tables and clothes cupboard - also with large flat screen TV and a 2nd English satellite TV consol.
There is air conditioning in livingroom and bedroom, the apartment is on top floor - so very quiet. The ceiling is relatively low - but completely fine (you do not hit head)

The location is good, it has a nice terrace with a lot of sun. We found the owner could do some invest. A new sofa would not be bad, Perhaps due to the rain there was sometime a not so good smell in the kitchen, and we couldn t understand how the wood on the roof could be covered with venyl.
Beside that we had a great stay in nice
What a wonderful way to stay and see Nice! There is plenty of space for two guests. I am fairly tall—6' 2" (189cm)—so the ceiling is a little low in some areas, but this is really common among older buildings in Nice, and I didn't mind the slightest bit. The apartment is conveniently located near both the beach( 2 blocks) and some amazing shops & restaurants right out your front door. This flat has some tastefully modern touches, and all the amenities you would expect from your own home. I absolutely loved mornings and sunsets on the garden terrace while enjoying a delicious glass of fresh juice or rosé. Old town is a lovely 5-10 minute walk which means you are close to everything, but just far enough away that the neighborhood is far quieter than the more active nightlife areas. Paul was extremely accommodating and very professional. I can't thank everyone enough at go-nice.com for a unforgettable stay. I sincerely hope I have the opportunity to stay here again.
I spent 3 weeks in this apartment in August 2015 for a mix of work and vacation und I truly liked this place. It is remarkably spacious, clean, well equipped and the location is just brilliant. Seeing it now on pictures while I am back home makes me feel a little sad and I just want to go back.
The apartment is relatively modern and more spacious than I expected it to be. The ceiling gets lower on the sides but this contributes to the cosy feel of the place and did not bother me at all. The bathroom is beautiful and professionally refurbished; the living room and kitchen are a bit DIY but in good condition. The bedroom has a good size and plenty of storage space; linen and towels are of excellent quality just as you would get in a 5*-hotel.
The location could barely be any better with tons of restaurants, bars, bakeries, shops, ATMs etc. just around the corner, two fair size supermarkets almost right at your door step and a 3 minute walk to the beach. There is absolutely no need for a car (it is probably more a hindrance); from the airport there is a direct bus connection (10 minute ride, bus stop 4 minutes walking from apartment), the train station is maybe a 7 minute walk and there is also at least one car rental just in front of your door.
Communications with Go Nice (rental agency) are very effective, quick and friendly and mostly done by email. The key handover (I went for the “pick up yourself at airport”-option) worked extremely well; during my stay I did not feel any need for interaction except one day when there was an issue with the WLAN: I phoned the agency in the morning and in the afternoon Paul (who is the owner of the agency but also a professional IT-guy) came round himself to fix it. Go Nice works very professionally and I am confident you will be in good hands if you rent with them. Many thanks!
Up out of the way apartment, very quiet, in a good area, the apartment has all the facilities you need, very comfortable, very good location to sea front, shops restaurants and railway station, Go-Nice provide a very good service, they are a great friendly team.

bed comfortable, had silent nights (ceyling rather low), excellent
aircon, all appliances good working, kitchen utensils complete
(maybe some teacups and plates could be added) we enjoyed the 12 qm terrace/balcony with comfortable easychairs (and watering the flowers was fun as the plants are visible thankful)
the daylight spacy bathroom was another highlight!

We had a good stay at the Sky Terrace. The apartment was very well equipped and comfortable and the icing on the cake was the terrace which provided a peaceful haven from the busy streets around Nice. Paul from Go-Nice was happy to help,with any queries.
Located in the Carre d'Or area of Nice - this is a great location approx. 150 meters from beach and Promenade des Anglais and 200 meters from the Pedestrian zone - many local restaurants, supermarkets and shops - perfect place to be based.
