About Don, Carolyn, and Nancy

My husband and I have been savoring the beauty of the Juniper Mountains since 2004. We've now been renting both our large home (379349) and guest cabin (431984) through VRBO for several years and enjoy a steady flow of guests from all over the world. Each one of our properties is custom-built and the setting is amazing.

We have four children, ten grandchildren, and two great grandchildren, who live somewhat scattered along the west side of the continent.

Don and I live on the 80 acres nearby with our Border Collie mix, Roxy, and Papillon, Sam. Although we will both be here to greet you when you arrive for your stay, initial point of contact will be handled by our daughter, Nancy.

Don, Carolyn, and Nancy purchased this cabin in 2017

Why Don, Carolyn, and Nancy chose Seligman

It's a little piece of paradise. This property is peaceful and quiet and away from it all, but an easy drive to all the attractions.

What makes this cabin unique

You cannot beat the mountain views and year-round moderate climate, with an occasional snowfall. Always green. Always serene.

Wee Casa - Perfect, Cozy Cabin

  • 5 of 5

Don & Carolyn (and Roxy) were incredible hosts for this warm cabin and managed to think of EVERYTHING, somehow making it all fit perfectly in this little room. If our travels ever take us back to Arizona, we will be staying here! The daily drives to "tourist landmarks" (Grand Canyon, Sedona, etc.) didn't feel quite as long because we could hop right on 40 for scenic views. We loved being able to unplug for 4 nights at Tumbling Rock Ranch.

Amazing getaway in a tiny cabin

  • 5 of 5

This property was even better than I expected. It’s located a good ways off the main road, and it’s so quiet and peaceful looking out over hills and forest. The house itself was a tiny cabin - so cute and perfect for two people. All the necessities were there, from cooking utensils to towels and games. Communication was good, too. Highly, highly recommend.

An intimate space with charm, a perfect escape from reality.

  • 5 of 5

Where to begin! This "wee" little cabin tucked in amidst the fragrant juniper and pine has everything you need for you and your partner to forget civilization: beautiful views to enjoy the sunrise in the morning, a coffee pot for that morning cup, and a kitchenette to whip up a breakfast. After our adventures at the Grand Canyon, we returned to the full shower to freshen up, a view of the stars you can't beat, and a very comfortable bed to rest our bodies for another adventure ahead.

A/C works well for the day, though we opted for the fresh air and ceiling fan at night. We didn't use the fire pit, propane grill, or tv, although they are all available. The property is substantial and we enjoyed a short hike around when we first arrived.

The space is tight, so this would be rough for the big&tall to enjoy comfortably.

We wish we had planned for more time to be here! We will DEFINITELY return if our adventures bring us this way again.

Don & Carolyn were friendly and available if we needed them, but they respected our privacy perfectly. There are at least two other rental properties on the ranch, but we only heard a peep once!

Thank you Don, Carolyn and Nancy for the amazing weekend at “Wee Casa”, it was perfect. Great morning walks, wildlife, great weather, comfortable bed answer pillows. The cabin had everything we needed for a quiet, peaceful and relaxing weekend. The cats on the property were loving, except the orange and black one (we named him two-face because it’s half orange and half black), he was stubborn, making me work for his affection lol. We had no complaints at all. We didn’t get to meet anyone, but that was ok also. We loved your property and home! Already talking about going again :) thank you all sooo sooo much!!!

We loved Wee Casa! It is romantic and cozy. Just big enough for 2, with a nice bathroom, and excellent bed. We used the kitchen area for good breakfasts every morning before our explorations of the area. The grill came in handy for a romantic supper. We'll be returning as soon as we can.
