Could this be the best holiday we have ever had? - probably, and we have travelled the world.
This is a great location for exploring the Roero and Langhe area. Peaceful accommodation but only minutes takes you onto the city of Alba by car. You also have some cafes in Piobesi d'Alba within a 20 minute walking distance.
Then we come to the hosts Maria and Armando are excellent!
All this with clean, comfortable accommodation - and your own, decent sized, swimming pool!
An absolute gem (but don't tell everyone)
There was just the 2 of us and a dog but the accommodation is flexible for families also.
Great walks from the house with the dog.
Great Apartment, Great Owners
From the moment we drove up and out came Maria and Armando, we knew we chose the right place. They are the most welcoming, lovely, hospitable couple/owners. We had 5 adults in our trip and the apartment is very large and comfortable, excellent kitchen, internet, outside table & chairs. Close to town and restaurants, etc., but quiet and peaceful. We were only here for 3 nights but if we do go back to that area, we will definitely stay here again without hesitation and hopefully for longer than 3 nights.
THANK YOU VERY MUCH FROM OUR HEART...
WE HOPE TO MEET YOU AGAIN HERE IN CASA REALA.
A BIG HUG.

Great summer holiday place
We owe Maria and Armando, the owners of the apartments, a big apology for writing this review so late. We very much enjoyed our stay at La Reala last August / September. The location at La Reala, only a few kilometers out of Alba, is just perfect for a quiet family holiday in the Langhe / Roero. The house is very comfortable to stay in, very tastefully decorated; the beds provide for a restful sleep and the kitchen is well equipped - something we experienced in the past is not always the case. Excellent internet connection and a washing machine in the bathroom are convenient. The pool area is very nice, too and everything is well attended. Maria and Armando are perfect and relaxed hosts, and make you feel welcome during the entire stay. We had a minor issue as we lost an important personal item and Armando was helping us a lot to recover it. We highly recommend to stay there and enjoy a great vacation.
We thank you very much for your kindly words and we hope to meet you again here in CASA REALA.

Comfort and hospitality
Casa Reala is such a nice place, incredibily well maintained by the owners. The pool is super, and the appartment has got character. The owners are really nice, warm people. You can ask them anything, but they give you as much privacy als you want. Our daughters had a great time here, especially at the pool, but also with Dori, the little dog.
In the surroundings there's a lot to see, like Torino, Alba, Asti, Neive, La Morra.
Thank you very much for your comment! We hope to meet you and your beautiful family next time here in Casa Reala!! Maria e Armando
Casa Reala is such a nice place :-)
Casa Reala is a very beautiful place where we chose to keep our summer holiday and thank God for that. We were welcomed with open arms by the nicest people Maria & Armando. It is a very beautiful place in Italy which we can only recommend to all others. Lovely large apartment with everything that was needed. The hottest pool to swim in that whole time was very nice and clean.
The area is beautiful and peaceful and quiet, yet close to town with lots of shops and restaurants.
We had a super nice summer holiday and will definitely come again another time.
Many happy and satisfied greetings from family Joergensen from Denmark

Non potrebbe essere migliore
Except for the weather, our stay at Reala was quite a pleasure. The appartment is excellent, clean and well equipped. House, facility and pool are very well kept. Everyday commodities are quickly achievable. Reala is really a quite place to calm down and ideal to start e.g. bike excursions and Langhe trips. But especially Maria and Armando, with their uninstrusive hospitality and sincere gentleness, make this place a special one.
Mille grazie, Maria e Armando, per i bei momenti con te, ci vediamo!
Grazie Grazie Grazie for your presence here in Reala! Hope to meet you again! A big hug to you!!
The name is very old and of uncertain derivation: It can mean "Land of the Ligurian", "wasteland" or "Language of the Earth". This set of hills, whose height ranges from 550 m. to 950 m above sea level is tight between the rivers Tanaro and Bormida and is a maze of picturesque small valleys surrounding an ancient world made of medieval villages, colors, scents, castles, churches and abbeys, traditions, storytelling, cooking recipes linked to the territory and great wines now popular in the world.
The Langhe have found their natural "capital" Alba, the historic center of Roman and medieval times and today lively and charming town where you can go on a hike to discover picturesque villages such as La Morra, Barolo, Serralunga d'Alba , Verduno, Monforte, Barbaresco and over until Astigiano.
150. About 000 years ago the Langhe and Roero constitute a single territory, but it is believed that during a flood the river Tanaro diverted its course revolutionizing the topography of the area, leaving the "Rocks" (split rock createsi watershed on) a testimony of what happened.
The name Roero has replaced the ancient name "Astixum" and is derived from secular domination exercised over these lands by Rotari then Roerio, ancient Ghibelline family of noble origins. In its history, the territory was often the scene of wars, looting and devastation but in the '700 several restorations, reconstructions and modifications baroque Piedmontese gave new life to a land already full of unique riches and thousands of years.
Today, on the left bank of the Tanaro, Roero includes 24 countries where unlike the kind and "combed" vineyards that characterize the Langhe landscape is painted in an uncontaminated nature and unique in the region of Piedmont; from its "capital", Bra, you can easily reach the valleys of Saluzzo, the Mondovì, Cuneo and Turin.
