A suberb villa built in 2000 and stylishly furnished with everything you could wish for to enjoy a wonderful holiday. The property has La Manga Club Sports Rights for 8 people which will give you a discounted rate on the three championship golf course, tennis and squash courts at the Club. If you are looking for a relaxing family holiday you will find it hard to beat this wonderful spacious villa.
There is a large private pool, 12m x 4m with a shallow end which is separated from the main pool by a string of stepping stones or mushrooms. This will means that children who are not swimming adequately can play in the pool in their own depth and in relative safety. There is lots of space around the pool for you to relax with a good book. Now with pool heater for the cooler months, extra charge applies.
The garden itself is charming, it has many different areas and is immaculately presented and kept up to the highest standard. The garden sweeps down to border the North Course of La Manga with a good thick hedge to keep out an loose golf balls. There is a pergola in the bottom part of the garden ... an ideal place to take a relaxing lunch.
The views from the terrace and around the pool are quite simply breath taking. From here you can see across the golf course and all the way down to the lighthouse at Cabo de Palos, Lion Mountain on Calblanque, the two seas of the Mediterranean and the Mar Menor and of course the rest of the Club.
The house enjoys fantastic views and is a wonderful place to relax and enjoy your holiday whilst on one of Europes premier Golf Resorts.
La Manga club has 3 championship 18 hole golf courses, 28 tennis courts, 3 squash courts, 2 gymnasiums, Five Star Hotel, Spa with therapy rooms, football academy, golf academy and much much more. There are over 25 restaurants on site catering for all tastes from the exotic with Asia and India Restaurants to Italian and Spanish, and hamburgers and Uncle Sams.
There are a number of pools on La Manga Club and guests of the Club can use the El Oasis pool complex at the Tennis centre as well as of course your own private pool.
Enter into the gracious hall and to the left runs the corridor to the bedrooms and bathrooms.
The master bedroom has a sitting area which is in the bay window. The wooden shutters open up to give a wonderful view of the pool and of the golf course. All three patio doors open up to the terrace around the pool. This room is immaculately furnished with large double bed, fitted wardrobes, chest of drawers. There is a lovely en suite bathroom with double sink in the vanity unit, WC and bidet and shower over bath.
The second bedroom is also a double bedroom with fitted wardrobes and patio doors to the enclosed rear courtyard. This room as an en suite bathroom with vanity unit, shower over bath and WC.
There is a twin bedroom with fitted wardrobes and patio doors to the swimming pool terrace.
A family bathroom with shower over bath, wash hand basin in vanity unit, WC and bidet.
Finally another twin bedroom with fitted wardrobes and patio doors to the terrace around the swimming pool.
To the right of the front door is a guest cloakroom with WC and wash hand basin. Then a very large lounge with 3 cream sofas, large flat screen TV which receives Satellite Channels through the La Manga Club TV system. The lounge has a beamed ceiling and fireplace. The lounge has large patio doors to terrace around the swimming pool.
From the lounge up one step is the magnificent round dining room with marble table and seating for 8. This is in the tower of the villa.
Access to the kitchen is via the dining room and the sitting room. The kitchen is very large and fully fitted with dishwasher, oven and hob, large fridge freezer and a smaller fridge freezer for drinks. There is separate utility room with washing machine and tumble dryer. The kitchen has a door to the terrace around the pool to fetch and carry out the food for those lovely al fresco lunches. The utility room has a door to the side of the house.
The house has four hot water tanks so there is endless hot water.
There is a separate external cloakroom and shower room in the courtyard opposite the utility room. An ideal room if you are using the pool, for showering and changing. There is a built in large BBQ under the pergola. The courtyard is screened with glass screens.
This house is exceptional in its accommodation and furnishings. It is a wonderful house in a fantastic spot. You will literally fall in love with this wonderful detached individual villa on La Manga Club.
The garden at this villa is very large.
Access down a relatively steep driveway to the parking area and car port. The house has a garage but this is not included in the let as the owner is storing their personal items. There is a carport and a turning bay and plenty more space in the driveway. The front garden has many lovely plants, palms and trees. There is a patio area which catches the afternoon sun.
To the side of the garage is an enclosed inner courtyard.
All patio doors lead to the large terrace which surrounds this wonderful private pool. The views from the terrace are wonderful. There are plenty of sunloungers, and table and chairs for dining outside around the pool.
From the pool there is a paved walkway to the back of the garage and the enclosed courtyard. There are steps down here to the lawned garden area. This has a pergola in the corner, olive and palm trees and literally runs onto the 3rd fairway of the North Course, separated by the hedge. The garden then sweeps round, under the pool and up the other side with rockery and steps up to the pool terrace again.
The garden is nothing short of magnificent. Beautifully stocked with flowering plants, palms, olives, orange and lemon trees. Geraniums fill the various pots and flower beds adding lots of colour and a very Spanish feel to the garden.
The views from this property are fantastic. Views across the North Course of the La Manga Club. The Club itself shown at its absolute best with its stylish villas hugging the hillside of the mountains of Calblanque. The mountains of Calblanque as a back drop, in particular the stunning Lion Mountain with its characteristic lion head summit.
Then across to the two seas, the Mediterranean in the distance and the Mar Menor in front of it. The La Manga Strip with its high rise apartments and twinkling lights in the evening. The most magnificent view of Cabo de Palos light house is of course at night when you can see the light.
We are happy to accept arrivals on any day of the week allowing you to take advantage of the cheaper mid week flights. Also happy to accept bookings of any number of days, for example if you can find the time or cheaper flights with an 8 day stay rather than 7 we would be happy to accommodate you.

The house is a dream, lovely rooms,great pool, it's big and comfortable. It's a shame though that when we got there it was dirty. Murcia villas treated us as if we were lying (I took pictures), no more smiles from Jane. 3 people came to clean, in half an hour they were gone without saying goodbye( except the guy, who was kind) and with the house still dirty. As I result we had to clean it. The yard part looked like it was abandoned and Jane told us that they don't clean that part.We've had an amazing time there anyway so I recommend the house.
Tanto la casa como el entorno son muy bonitos. Lo que se echa de menos es algo mas de mobiliario en el salón que está un poco desangelado. Pero sobre todo, me ha parecido deficiente el menaje de la cocina. No es que falte nada en especial, pero se nota que no está bien organizado.
Los distintos modelos de cubertería, cristalería y vajillas, se amontonan por falta de espacio o de organización. Y las sartenes estaban, francamente, muy estropeadas.
Otro asunto es que la limpieza a mitad de estancia fue bastante deficiente.
Thank you very much for your reply. I do not understand your attitude with us but we want to indicate that a villa like that is not cleaned in half an hour. It is not only a stain on the tiles but also the smell of the sheets to dust, sofas, etc. We did not do in the previous review but after coming a cleaning crew and be 30 minutes in the house, we had to hire, for our own, a cleaning service to wash sheets, scrub floors, wash covers sofas (smelling sweat) vacuuming carpets and all clean toilets that had dirt (in fact we sent you photos of all)
The last day we had a barbaque and we all gathered, obviously we did not clean as we had paid for that cleaning Homeaway. They also say that the day we left the house it was very windy and, as you know, the wind brings dirt and dust.
Thank you very much for your sympathy in the first hour we meet, we hope the owners of this beautiful house to see the reality of managing it, which leaves much to be desired.
The Costa Calida region
Nestling at the bottom of the Costa Blanca, the Costa Calida is one of the least known and most unspoilt regions of Spain, guaranteed to give you a taste of real Spain.
With over 315 days of sunshine every year it is little wonder that the Costa Calida means warm coast and the unspoilt inland waters of the Mar Menor, the largest natural lagoon in Europe, offer safe and warm water bathing all year round.
The area is best know for the La Manga Club resort, renowned for its three championship golf courses, LTA Tennis Centre Training Ground and being the training ground of visiting football teams from Spain, the UK and the whole of Europe. There are over 22 tennis courts with the option of booking tennis coaching on an hourly or weekly basis. Short tennis, squash courts, bowling green and pitch and putt to name but a few of the sporting attractions. The hotel is a fabulous 5 Star hotel and more, with poll bar and now the newly opened Spa. Spoil yourself with a treatment from a manicure to the full 90 minute signature Lavender Massage with facial. For the evening there are over 25 restaurants and bars to dine in and to relax and enjoy yourself. These range in style and price from the Amapola Restaurant at the Hotel which is superb but a little expensive to Si bar for inexpensive dining with family entertainment.
The area has more to offer than just La Manga Club and it is an excellent place to explore and get a true taste of Spain, plus there are 6 further golf courses of an excellent standard, and a further 12 under development.
La Manga Strip ... the sleeve of land that runs from Cabo de Palos in the south to San Pedro in the north is 18km long and encloses the warm tranquil waters of the Mar Menor to the west and has the livelier colder Mediterranean to the east. The Strip is up to 1km wide in parts and in others is is merely 100m allowing only for the road to run through with a beach on either side. La Manga Strip is a town in its own right, albeit an long thin one! There are shopping centres, restaurants and bars set in plazas or squares. The marina at the Puerto Tomas Maestre is beautiful and houses some stunning boats and yachts that most of us can only dream of, but the restaurants are great and the atmosphere is wonderful.
The La Manga Club / Individual Villas, La Manga Club area
The famous La Manga Club Resort has so much to offer a family holiday. Three 18 hole championship golf course, the North, the South and the West Course. There are 28 tennis courts, clay and hard courts, 3 squash courts, 2 gymnasiums. There are over 25 restaurants catering for all tastes from the exotic such as Asia and India Restaurants to Italian and Spanish or just good old hamburgers and chips from restaurants such as Uncle Sams and Si Bar. La Manga Club is also famous for the famous visiting football teams, from Arsenal, Real Madrid to National Teams such as Holland, England and Finland. The footballers take advantage of the fabulous spring time weather to use the year round pitches and also to use the fully superbly equipped gymnasium at the Spa at La Manga Club, plus the indoor pool, sauna, jacuzzi and therapy rooms.
The Spa at La Manga Club is well worth a days visit and is a great day out. Enjoy or struggle through one of the exercise classes, use the fantastic gym and then flop by the large indoor pool with sauna and steam room. If you book a treatment, eg a massage, body scrub or one of the many other treatments you can use the jacuzzi pools. These vary in temperature and intensity. You can stand under the jets or sit in the jacuzzi and let the bubble surround you.
Once on resort there is no real reason to go off, as there are two supermarkets, banks, pharmacy and even a medical centre. But you will be missing out of a treat and a rare thing in Spain, unspoilt traditional villages and coastline. The Costa Calida and in particular the Mar Menor is the area where the Spanish take their holidays.
The warm shallows of the Mar Menor are safe for children and very warm. The mineral salt concentration is very high and you can almost float unaided. La Manga Strip is incredible with 18km of sandy beaches on the Meditereanean side of white sands that go on and on, and small coves and inlets on the Mar Menor.
Watersports, there are sailing schools, jet skis for hire, windsurfers or take a pedlo and peddle like crazy around the islands of the Mar Menor.
Cabo de Palos is only 10km from the La Manga Club, and has a large Sunday Market, one of the largest in the area. Here you can buy leather goods, clothes, olives and pistachio nuts and fantastic fresh fruit and vegetables. After you have exhausted yourselves and your wallet relax and enjoy a lunch on the harbour side. As you would imagine fish is the speciality, sardines and paella are especially good sitting out and watching the traffic (boats only) coming in and out of the harbour.
The vibrant town of Cartagena is 20 minutes away. There are a number of other tourist attractions which are really fun to do, I would recommend the open top bus ride and the trip around the harbour on the catamaran. If you do not want to have a history or culture lesson then the shops are fantastic, and it is a great place to buy clothes and especially shoes and handbags. Then take a long and lovely lunch over looking the harbour in one of the many cafes and restaurants on the front. The town itself is friendly and safe.
Venture further up the motorway to Torrevieja to the water park. Fun, scarey and wet!
At Murcia is the all new Terra Natura. This is a zoo park with rare and unusual animals in large natural enclosures. You can literally come face to face with bear cubs behind a glass screen, wolves and lion, giraffes and zebras. There are lots of animals to see in this carefully constructed and ultra modern zoo. That is the first part, the second part of Terra Natura and on the same site is the water park. Great fun and with almost no queues. There are not as many slides as in the park in Torrevieja and the queues are almost non existant (unlike the water park in Torrevieja) so you get lots of turns on the slides. The slow river is fun to float around in and there is an excellent series of shallow pools with climbing frames and slides. Only the brave will be able to face the enclosed steep slide.
